What are the chances Reggie Bush not only plays, but plays significant time?

My guess...50-75%, but his touches will be limited by Thomas

He plays. imop. He won't get a lot of rushes but I think he'll be involved in the passing game. The Saints need every game now, last week he was unsure of playing, this week he sounds much more confident. I'll say he gets 15-18 touches minimum.

I think he'll play; my guess is he gets a good number of receptions, but maybe just a 1/3 of the carries (which is okay because Bush doesn't get much on the ground anyway). TB is also not a great RB play either in general. This is a tough game to predict for Pierre owners also.

Devils' Advocate:While Reggie seems positive, the coaches are syaing things like "hopeful" and he was "limited" in practice again this week. I think some of the touches you list are high...won't there be some rust? and doesn't TB bother you....according to SOS, they are one of the toughest defense in general...

After having Romo, L. White and the Tenn Def go today, I have a pretty good lead. Even if Bush is active I may just still go with Pierre. BTW I think Bush will definately play this week. As far as seeing 18 touches, I think that is being overly optimistic in his first game back.

I think I would still play Thomas over Reggie this week... Thomas is a sure bet while Reggie could be hit or miss
I actually disagree here. Could easily see pine for Pierre... a series or two? Maybe. It's a Chester Taylor situation. I would start Bush over PT this week.

I'm not sure what is going to happen. I own both Bush and Thomas. I'm thinking of starting Hillis against the Jets, Just because I know that Hillis will get quality touches.

Unless McAllister has photos of Payton and farm animals, Thomas should be the clear No. 2 RB the rest of the season. Payton has talked this week about how he believes Bush and Thomas can provide the same type of production Bush and Deuce provided in the past (likely referring to Bush's rookie season which was the last time Deuce was any good). I doubt Thomas is going anywhere and as we saw early in the season, Thomas was getting double-digit touches when paired with a healthy Bush. I would be surprised if Thomas didn't remain involved in the offense. Bush isn't a guy, when healthy, who can run the ball 20-25 times a game so Thomas can fill that role plus get 2-4 receptions in the passing game. All that being said, I expect Bush to play this week. I've seen reports which said he's returning punts in practice and having no trouble cutting with his knee injury. If he's returning punts in practice, I'd be very surprised if he didn't play.

I agree, but don't you mean knee? Or did he hurt his ankle, too?
