The 2nd pick won our redraft league in a 12 team. I'm thinking they will be all over the board with huge waiver pick ups.

I won from the 6 hole, 14 teams, heavy RB scoring.

Andre was the pick, but then Moss...I went WR-WR-WR-TE-QB, and the only RB I got off waivers was Blount.

I think this was one of the weirder years in fantasy, although maybe it feels that way every year...

5th (R. Rice) vs. 4th pick (F. Gore) Superbowl. 5th pick won the league and had the highest scoring team as well. This is the first time the regular season scoring champ won the title in 5 years of the leagues existence.

I won with #2. It's a 2 QB league, and I went against conventional wisdom and picked Rodgers (instead of ADP, Rice, or MJD). I'm quite happy with how that turned out, especially considering the quality of RBs I was able to get much cheaper (Foster, Hillis, Blount).

Another league was won from the #7 spot (Andre Johnson - not that it was much help in the title game). I was runner-up and regular season high scorer from the 10 spot. Again took a QB (Brees). Guess I'm just a sucker for 'em. For some reason, my worst fantasy seasons were when I was stuck with bad QBs - so when one I like is on the board around his ADP I usually go for them. Considering my alternate at #10 was Moss, I feel good about my decision.

I wouldn't be surprised if the results of this poll are all over the place.

#6 hole. Gore, Rodgers in a 10 team as first 2 picks and some decent waiver pickups. Lost Finley to injury. Rest of the squad in my signature. Was #2 seed and highest scoring team throughout the season and playoffs.

Would you also believe that out of 15 rounds only 4 out 15 of my picks were still on my roster after I won the super bowl? (Gore and Finley hurt, defense and kicker switched all season)

This is why I think the draft holes didn't matter as much as years past. Waivers were a big deal this season.

I'm sure plenty lost with Vick's average performance tonight. I beat Vick, but he was definitely money on the road to week 16.

Picked up Vick and McFadden in free agency though, so I have to give him credit for that. Although he started Tomlinson over McFadden for the first 14 weeks

i had 7th pick and took turner. I agree with you. I seriously can't remember the last time i hit on a rb in the first couple rounds. All busts.

Final four teams were 1, 2, 3, and 9 in draft order. But #2 only made it because of Michael Vick. Otherwise, his team wasn't that strong.

In NFFC there was a fairly even distribution. Many of the least desirable slots (e.g., 10, 11) still wound up with powerful teams. My interpretation was that you're still going to win your leagues in the middle of the draft no matter where you're originally slotted.
