The numbers may be skewed, but the point is a valid one. Portis is a great runner in space. Why not try to get him the ball more often with screens/dump offs? Seems to make sense to me.

I'm very surprised we haven't seen more of this. There was a lengthy article in the preseason in Sporting News detailing screens and their use in the NFL. They keyed on Al Saunders and how much he loves to run screens and how it was going to be a big part of the WAS offense this year. What happened?
