POST CURRENT DYNASTY RANKING LISTS HERE (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
End of Regular Season. I'm out of the playoffs and want to know who to snag on my roster before Yahoo locks me out.

I like Dynasty thread but it's too hard to follow. And I don't care if you think someone's #35th ranked WR should be higher. I think TIERS are the way to go. I would like to request that people post ranks here.

Don't debate my rankings, or anyone else's. Just update your own post. PM people if you disagree. I don't want a long thread. Prefer 1 post per person that they edit. This way it's easier to search.

UPDATED 12/6/2012

QB GOAL Young players playing at high level Top5 or Top10 that NFL teams have built around.Preferrable with weapons AND protection in passing offense. Vets are guys might want to have for 1-2 years but not necessarily guys you build team around.

TIER1 QB Rodgers, Luck, RG3, Ryan, Stafford.

TIER2 QB RWilson, Newton, Brady, Brees, Eli, Romo, Dalton, BigBen

Tier3 QB Kaepernick, Tannehill, Cutler, Freeman, Schaub,Flacco Rivers,

Tier4 QB ASmith, Fitzpatrick, Palmer, Ponder, Henne, Weeden

Tier5 QB TJYates, OSweiler, McElroy,

VET QB PManning, MVick, Hasselbeck, Orton,

WR Goals: Freak athletic ability, top WR target on team, Speed, hands, attack ball, YAC ability. Limited injury history. Mentally tough, utilized by team. Solid QB.

Not all WRs listed. Some names missing. Ideally, you're going with players you can build around that grow in value. Roster Fillers are for weekly points...not long term building. They garner little trade value if any though they might outscore prospects. You also have injured studs. Nicks, Alexander, Britt. Know your guy and why to balance adds/drops/valuations.

TIER1 WR CJohnson, AJ Green, RCobb, Harvin, DThomas,

Tier2 WR DezBryant, VCruz, BMarshall, JuJones, EDecker, JNelson, PGarcon,

Tier3 WR RWayne, RWhite, AJohnson, VJAX, MColston, SSMITH? GJennings, LFitzgerald, HNicks, KBritt, MAustin?,

Tier4 WR JGordon, CGivens, CShorts, TYHilton, StvJohnson, MWallace, JJonesGB, DMoore, DAmendola, ABrown, JBlackmon,

Tier5 WR GTate, ESanders, GLittle, MFloyd,RRandle, VBrown, MSanu, Mjones, DAlexander, KWright,LMoore, TSmith,BHartline, MManningham, MCrabtree,MWilliamsTB, JMaclin,

Tier6 WR AJeffery, TGGraham, RStreater, JCriner, ABenn, LBrazill, Keyshawn Martin, LJean,BLafell,

Tier7 WR AJJenkins, StHill, BQuick,JAdams,

Goal is top 5 producer via 3 downRB workhorse with good hands and game break speed and little injury history. Getting harder to avoid RBBC. I don't trade for handcuffs typically. I WW add then sell. Be patient, RB has most turnover. Top producers rarely stay in top 5 for 5 years.

TIER1 RB APeterson, AFoster, DMartin, TRichardson,

Tier2 RB RRice, MForte,DMurray, CJ2k, LMcCoy

Tier3 RB Spiller, Lynch, JCharles, DMcFadden,

Tier4 RB MJD, Sproles, Ridley, Morris, BJGE, RBush, Rmathews,

Tier5 RB MLeshoure, Bradshaw, Gore, Turner, McGahee, SJax,

Tier6 RB Greene, Jaquizz, KMoreno, LBlount, VBallard,BryBrown, RyWilliams, CWells,SVereen,Jstarks, MIngram,MReece, MTolbert,MHardesty,IPead,

Tier7 RB Helu, DCarter,BPierce, BTate,JqeBell, DBrown, JDwyer, CRainey, Turbin, Fjones, KHunter,LMJames,

Tier8 RB JermiahJohnson, BRainey,PTanner, LMcClain?, JParmele, RJennings, PHillis, MSmithTB,MFannin, COgbannaya, Bjackson, BBolden, TCadet, CIvory,JBest, CGray,

Tier9 RB CPolk,

GOAL for TE Top 1-2 pass options in offense esp Redzone Target. Physically create matchup problems. Freakish talent athleticism, size, speed. Great hands, Good blocking to be on field more. I'll admit I don't know a ton about the deeper tiers.

TE

TIER1 TE RGronkowski, JGraham,

Tier2 TE ODaniels, JWitten, AHernandez, VDavis,

Tier3 TE HMiller, JGresham, GOlsen,KRudolph, BMyers?

Tier4 TE MBennett, Pettigrew, Tamme, Pitta, Cook, Gates?, FDavis,

Tier5 TE Moeaki, Housler, MLewis, DAllen, CFleener, SChandler, LKendricks,

Tier6 TE GGraham?, OCharles?, CCLay?

AGREE or DISAGREE Here are some players to watch for. Tiers are an approximate valuation. Value is determined by Need, Hype, Situation, Ability, Past Production, Outlook/expectation. No one really expected LMcCoy, MWallace, LFitzgerald, MVick, Sproles, production to drop off so much. So if you can replace those points with ADalton, Shorts, and others you're doing something right.

You can't rank Cobb over Julio, Martin over Richardson, Wilson over Newton, Brady over Brees, and Forte over McCoy and not let us talk about it. That's just not realistic.
Martin over Richardson I might see (I've been saying it since before the draft.)Julio and Cobb are close, especially in leagues that include return yardage. (In my return yardage league Cobb is WR #4) Brady and Brees are old. Who cares? :hophead: I would never put Forte over McCoy even if Philly is a mess. :2cents:Edit - Wilson over Newton is also nonsense.

Well in his defense, sounds like equal if in the same tier. Cobb over Julio is the only one in a higher tier.

I hear the Broncos QB is pretty good -- you know, the Papa Johns guy. Might want to add him in there somewhere.
