I think they should have an app. We get alerts every day of what will be delivered the next day. We can choose to accept, return/recycle it and/or cancel all future mail from this sender.
As well as the usual stuff like making a change of address easier. It would help modernize the PO for the new generation.

Frequently I pay my utilities in advance if the billing cycle once they post the balance to my online account. Days later I get a bill in the mail that is a complete waste of paper. I would like the option of just cancelling mail I don't need.
And I'm getting mail from for 4-5 prior residents of my apartment. I keep some of it. I basically have a free subscription to Bon Appetit which I like and Glamour that I give to my current lady friend. I'd like to cancel all the other unneccesary mail for the previous tenants.

Well, there really is no junk mail. Sure, everyone wants to get a check or a birthday card but it takes just as much manpower to deliver as your precious little greeting cards.
