12team/2rb/2wr/2flex/ppr dynasty. I've scored 389 points thru two weeks (high scorer)...0-2, just a run of bad luck...definitely cant see this team missing postseason barring injury of course.

Felix and Jackson hurts me pretty badly. Looking to trade stevie johnson and deangelo for an underperforming mendenhall. My luck, I'll still miss the playoffs.

Isaac Redman is a nice stash if he's available.

According to the rate my team before the season, I had a 90+% chance of making the playoffs, but pretty sure I am toast. Just my starters (or what was supposed to be my starting lineup):

Romo

Foster (have Tate and Ward)

Charles

Dez Bryant

Manningham

Santana Moss

Gates

Suisham

Eagles

PPR and 2PPR for TEs. This week I had to bench Bryant, lost Charles, lost Romo for about a quarter, lost Foster in game and somehow got a donut from Gates in a 2PPR league with Keller on the bench. Pretty sure at 0-2, I am already done, especially with Charles gone for the season.

I have the highest cumulative points among all teams (and it's not even close). Just bad luck. I think I'm stacked and wouldn't trade my roster for any other in our league. What sucks is I don't think I can even take advantage of the favorable waiver wire priority I get for my 0-2 start, since I'm not willing to part with any of my players for any of the existing free agents.

And do you still think you can make the playoffs?
Hey ponchsox, there's a Venting thread pinned at the top of the forum for discussing just this kind of thing. Please use it instead so we can keep as much useful NFL talk on the front page as possible.

Hey dude, this isn't a vent. Its a chance for people to show their 0-2 teams that may have been unlucky but have good teams on paper.

That is rough; Foster and Charles went in the top half of just about every draft I was in. You had be ecstatic when you nabbed both. Now injuries have made this team a wreck.

This is exactly the kind of thing the Venting thread is for. You'll find a welcome audience already there for discussing things that are going wrong with your fantasy team or what you have in common with other teams in a similar situation. Please use it instead.

Lineup this week

Brady

C.Johnson :wall:

Nicks

Bess

Henderson(WW pickup)

Finley

Flex Woodhead so far, might roll with D.Thomas this week and bench Bess for who knows who.

PK,D Doesnt matter, I always play the wrong one.

I got blown the **** out this week after losing by 4 last week. In my 3 leagues I am 1-5, not a great season so far.

Thankfully my only 0-2 squad is in an ultra-shallow 8-team league without deep benches so a recovery shouldn't be a huge issue. I'm actually having a lot of fun with it given that the Commissioner of this league is also 0-2 and a good friend... and we face off next week in a battle to not be the only winless team.

STARTING LINEUP

QB - Tony Romo (fractured rib)

RB - Jamaal Charles (shredded ACL; was my one keeper for this season; will soon be on the IR)

RB - Rashard Mendenhall (my new #1 RB)

FLEX - Felix Jones (separated shoulder; will warm the bench for a while)

WR - Mike Wallace (uberstud also owned on 3 of my other teams)

WR - Santonio Holmes (performing admirably despite gimped knee)

TE - Aaron Hernandez (sprained MCL; good thing I have underperforming Finley for depth)

D/ST - Baltimore Ravens (shame they can't play the Steelers every week)

PK - Alex Henery

BENCH

QB - Mark Sanchez (Romo's apparent replacement barring a waiver grab)

RB - Reggie Bush (being supplanted by Daniel Thomas)

WR - Kenny Britt (shouldn't be benching this guy much longer)

WR - Mario Manningham

WR - Nate Burleson

TE - Jermichael Finley

I'm still optimistic about the playoffs, but I am going to try and move a wide receiver this week for an upgrade at RB.

I was, especially with deep benches so I could keep both Tate and Ward easily. I wasn't anticipating having to choose so much on Foster and losing Charles makes the Foster decision worse. This was my earliest draft and I definitely would have not gone Foster. I figured 1-2 games with a backup would be fine for the reward once healthy, but starting Ward last week and Foster this week and not even knowing what week 3 brings makes this a mess I should have avoided. What sucks even more is after the first week Dez looked awesome even against Revis and of course they have him returning punts and Gates had 8 receptions and was healthy. Then week 2 and 0 points from those guys. Luckily, the injury bug decimated one roster and :knockonwood: my other teams stay healthy.I do have to say (to take my post away from venting), the one tough thing about this league is that it is a 12 team, 20 player roster league. The deep roster leagues make it much, much harder to dig out of a hole because every "sleeper" is already rostered. Not sure a single player in the WW3 thread is available. No way I could get a reasonably deep roster drafting TJones and McCluster along with Tate and Ward. 6 out of 20 spots for 2 RBs and of course I rostered the team that is RBBC now instead of the team that lost the guy for the season. Oh well, sometimes they hit, sometimes they don't.

14 teams. Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 RB/TE/WR, 1 K, 1 D/ST

QBs: Freeman, Flacco

RBs; Mendenhall, S. Jackson

WRs: A. Johnson, G. Jennings, J. Knox, Denarious Moore, B. Lafell, A. Benn, D. Nelson

TEs: Finley, D. Keller, Kendricks, E. Dickson

D/ST: Green Bay

K: Alex Henry (Phi)

I should get one of the first waiver pickups this week, but looks like no one of real importance/interest will be available, but I will probably make a claim or two. Sure, I still think I can make the playoffs; it's early still, and I won the championship last year with a similar team.

Dynasty non PPR (went 10-3 last year 0-2 right now) Rate my team was "vertual lock" to make playoffs - "the machine" had me at 96% to make playoffs and 35% to win Championship

Won this league last year, and just run into the highest scoring team the first two weeks.

Bad Luck, it happens, but hopefully, I can get off the schnide soon.

PPR 10 Teamer, 6 pts all TDs, can use TEs as WRs:

This week I had AJ Green on my bench for Vernon Davis...Mike Williams got me a single point, Davis got me 3. I could have started Graham who would have given me 13...Now I'm down 31 with Nicks left, I HATE my chances. AND I started Cowboys over Lions D this week, would have even been a 18 pt difference in my league. FML.

:( Lost Manningham in the first half as well tonight. Seriously? 7 non-D/K starters and I had 1 inactive, 1 concussion, 1 broken rib/punctured lung, 1 hamstring, 1 torn ACL and 1 first Gates game without a reception in 3 years.

12 team ppr league. I've won this league two years in a row. Not this year, I guess. Is Tate my savior? None of the RBs are where I thought they would be. If even one of them hits I have a chance, but I don't see it happening until week 8 or later, when it will likely be too late.

Most of my team is in the last year of their contracts so I really went for it this year giving up a lot to get Adrian Peterson

1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 DEF, 1 K

QB- Rodgers(last year of contract)

RB- Chris Johnson(2 years on rookie contract), Adrian Peterson(last year of contract), W. McGahee, Woodhead, Ridley, Powell, Ringer

Slow start by Johnson has hurt and I didn't have the stones to start McGahee over him last week. I have gone up against the highest scorer I think both weeks. A few more losses and I am going to have to consider trading for Keepers/rookie draft picks.

Obviously, Arian Foster and Chris Johnson are killing me right now. My WR situation can also use some work. But I'll be OK. Pretty confident I can make the playoffs. When Foster gets healthy and if a couple of my more speculative picks pan out, I should be in good shape down the stretch.
