Man I hope mine goes like this in a few weeks, since I have 1.01 and 2.01 in a TEP league
This one isn't TE premium, but those are both of my picks. Sitting at 2.03 after trading up.

Have an offer to get Pickens, but with Egbuka and Golden here I may just select one of them.

Wait, you WANT Pickens? ;)

I’d stand pat and draft either of those guys over Pickens.

Yes, Pickens seems intriguing to me. I have a win now team and Pickens would be my WR6 so going for the upside here.

Fair enough. But as your WR6 and Win Now, I think I’d go for the upside of a rookie to sit at the end of my bench for a year or so, instead of a known head case. 2 cents.

yeah, I get that as well. Since I won't use Pickens/Egbuka much I see taking the risk of them being a good WR and letting them sit on the bench until then.

I didn't seek this trade it was offered to me so I was intrigued enough to accept it.

I have the 1.06 (non SF) and it's looking like I pretty much get whichever one of Hunter, Tet, Henderson or Judkins is left over. I don't really see anyone else jumping into the top 6.

My only non-FFPC league, same format/lineup as standard FFPC but not TEP and larger roster sizes:

1. Jeanty
2. Hunter
3. Hampton
4. Harvey
5. Henderson
6. Judkins
7.
McMillan
8. Warren
9. Johnson
10. Skatteboo
11. Egbuka
12. Loveland

Was probably most surprised to see the two top TE's go in similar range as a lot of my FFPC drafts.
This one wrapped up this morning, my last rookie/FA draft. 12 teams single PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, K and D. Roster size is 20 + 2 taxi squad options which can only be rookies.

My picks in bold, had a lot of them:

2.01-Burden
2.02-Golden
2.03-Higgins
2.04- Tuten
2.05- Noel
2.06-Tre Harris
2.07-Marks
2.08-Blue

3.07-Neal

4.10-Phil Mafah
4.11-Zach Ertz
4.12-Ayomanor

16 team SF PPR IDP TEP start 11/11

Worth noting: Hunter will get TKL, ATK, INT as a WR. If MFL gives him WR/CB, he’ll get WR stats from CB.

ETA: I was right Ward went 1.05

1.01 - Jeanty
1.02 - Hunter
1.03 - Warren
1.04 - Hampton
1.05 - Cam Ward - falls to the only team that needed a QB picking in the top 7. Remarkable. Didn’t need to trade up. Privately told me he didn’t know the draft had started or he would have moved to 1.03 to take him. I’m never that lucky. lol
1.06 - Henderson
1.07 - trade up! Loveland.
1.08 - Dart - (seems awfully early)
1.09 - Judkins (thought he’d go 6th)
1.10 - Egbuka
1.11 - Tet
1.12 - Kaleb Johnson
1.13 - Tyler Shough  (this is a head scratcher reach IMO. This manager is typically a shark)
1.14 - Harvey
1.15 - Mason Taylor
1.16 - Golden

2.01 - Abdul Carter (seems early to start taking IDP)
2.02 - Jayden Higgins
2.03 - Luther Burden

Crazy good value on Ferguson. Don't think I've seen him fall out of the third round many, if any, places yet. I love this RB class more than most, but can't imagine taking some of those guys in the third round ahead of T-Ferg. Fergy Ferg. Turd Ferguson. Hm.... I'll find one that sticks.

The  emoji above if for the Hampton/Jeanty ADP comment, not the overall draft :)

Seeing a bunch of recent drafts where Kaleb Johsnon falls to the top of the 2nd just made me write a note-to-self for my August draft to see if I should package up my 2.2 + a later pick to move up to the late 1st if Kaleb falls like this. Opportunity seems too good to pass up.

what's MFL's stance on him getting defensive points since you're in IDP?

Depends how the commissioner sets up scoring, but in this league, any stats any player accumulate will count.

If a DT runs for 5 yards, he gets points.
If a WR gets a tackle after his QB throws a pick, he gets points.

Had our rookie draft this wk end.
My picks -
1.06 - Q. Judkins
2.05 - L. Burden
2.08 - Tre Harris ( traded Mike Evans, age etc)
3.05 - Jaydon Blue
4.05 - T. Horton

12 team, 1 pt ppr, super flex.. 26 man rosters.

More so meant Hunter when he plays D.

Started draft with 3 picks, traded for 2 more. SF, IDP. Defending champion but I had traded my picks throughout the years, high picks for Rome and Will Anderson.

2.12 Terrance Ferguson TE LAR
5.12 Croskey-Merritt RB WAS
7.6 Xavier Restrepo WR TEN
7.8 Jarquez Hunter RB LAR
7.12 Kevin Winston DB TEN

I’ll be happy to get a couple viable bench players with a few starts from this crew. Hopefully Ferguson performs next year as my TEs are my weak link (Ertz, Kincaid, j Sanders, Theo Johnson)

I have a slow rookie draft in progress right now. It includes some folks who post here or used to post here.
12 Teams, QB,RB,WR,TE,SFLX,FLX,FLX,FLX, DEF; Progressive PPR (RB +0.5, WR +1, TE +1.5), 19 roster spots + 4 taxi (kinda short benches for dynasty)
Trading is prolific, so most picks are not based on where teams finished.

I am very pleased with walking away from this with Quinshon, Kaleb, Egbuka, and Golden. I honestly do not need any of them to crack my starting lineup right away but if any of them do get there this season, it would be a nice bonus. My team has been pretty top heavy and this hopefully will fill out the middle and keep me contending for longer than just the next season or two. I moved up and down in this draft to end up with the spots I ended up with, and I think I hit the sweet spot for value on both RB and WR, which was my goal.

Last season I lost in the first round of the playoffs and the year before, I just barely missed the playoffs. I think this year I'm one of the favorites. Here is my roster:
QB: Lamar, Purdy, AR15
RB: Saquon, James Conner, Trey Benson, Quinshon Judkins, Kaleb Johnson, Elijah Mitchell (likely cut), Will Shipley (taxi), Carson Steele (taxi and likely cut)
WR: Chase, Justin Jefferson, Deebo, Darnell Mooney, Jalen Coker, Elijah Moore, Amari Cooper, Emeka Egbuka, Matthew Golden, Malik Washington (taxi), Jacob Cowing (taxi, likely cut)
TE: Hock, Goedert
D: Vikes

Love the value in those late round picks.
Winston was a steal.
Hunter could be a good handcuff.
Restrepo could win a starting job there eventually and already has a great rapport with Ward. Can't believe he was not drafted.
C-M could split time in a RBBC.
Ferguson will probably be your starting TE in another year unless Kincaid becomes a bigger party of that offense.

I will say this past draft was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it is inevitable that the hopes that were high in the heat of September, will wilt and die in the chill of November.

I wonder how we’re going to feel about some of these players this time next year.
We know exactly how we’ll feel, I think.
We feel super confident in our 1st and 2nd rounders being foundational pieces for years to come.
We love the upside of the value players who dropped to us in the 3rd and 4th.
We’re amazing that the late round sleepers fell to us in the 5th and 6th.
;)

What we really know is that we’re lucky if 2 of our 6 or 7 draft picks actually turn into keepable players.
It’s all dart throws. What are we supposed to do, only draft end of bench vets who were dropped at roster cutdown? ;)

Well, it might be something better placed for another thread, but I'll humour the post and go with what I think of the picks I made last year:

#13 - Brian Thomas - Superb. Passed all expectations. Already dealt him at what I thought was a sell high point to lock up Nabers in a trade
#18 - Blake Corum - Maybe hoped for a bit more in year one, but didn't quite work out that quickly for reasons that aren't necessarily Blake's, value definitely down but pick could be worse for sure
#23 - Jaylen Wright - Expected zero year one with a good 1-2 punch ahead of him but maybe could have shown more with the chances he did get. Critical year two you feel
#36 - Braelon Allen - Feeling good about this one. Shown some pieces when Hall hasn't been 100%, definitely room to improve and reasons to be optimistic here
#40 - Isaac Guerendo - Seemed very reliant on injuries hitting to have any relevance year one and certainly a longer term project, but things haven't worked out badly for sure
#45 - Jared Wiley - Basically a dart throw that either Kelce got bored/injured, or the other guy who was the TE2 did the same, and you get some signs that you can get something that might work in a good offense. Didn't pan out but the process seems fine
#50 - Rasheen Ali - Mr Irrelevant dart throw that was completely irrelevant with Henry doing Henry things and Ali having his own injury issues
#UDFA - Devaughn Vele - Pulled onto the taxi squad, showed some promise but not enough where I can actually use him in any sort of trade sadly
#UDFA - Jase McClellan - Another taxi squad ultra speculative dart throw which went as expected

I need a shower after reading most of that.

Nice. Grab a rookie TE with your 3rd rounder? (If you have one?) one of Taylor or Ferguson could be nice if they make it to you.
I don't pick again until 4.08.

I'll probably snag one off of waivers and stash on my taxi. Or wait until next season, I feel pretty fine with Hock and Goedert.
