Everyone enjoys using trades to maneuver the draft board in a dynasty startup. I'd like to compile as many dynasty startup draft pick trades as I can, and then create a draft-pick calculator or some other intuitive tool to help owners make informed trades. Even before the final product, this thread should be a good reference.

You can post as much or as little information about the league settings as you like. I likely won't be able to tease out the difference in pick values, if any, between 1QB and 2QB leagues.

Feel free to include trades involving future rookie draft picks. Just no players.

Finally, please post trades from prior years. I know values change over time, but this is a first cut, and I want as much data as I can get.

That first one can't be right... the 2.02, 5.12, 7.12 in a dynasty start-up? As in 2.02 = 16th overall pick? That alone for what you gave would be lopsided but you got a 5th/7th too? Fixed:

Second one is pretty sick as well. A 2013 late first for the 61st overall pick in a startup? That's like Finley, Decker, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck territory. You're playing with a slew of chumps.

It's a league mostly pulled from FBG. There appears to be a mix of seasoned guys and a few newbies. The first trade was definitely one that I felt really good about. The guy who I made the trade with really wanted RGIII I assume. 6 QB's were off the board in the first round. At the time the trade happened, Rodgers, Newton, Brady, Brees, Stafford, and Eli were off the board. I took Ryan and Rivers at 2.02/2.03.

The second trade was essentially Stevie Johnson for a future 1st, as Johnson was the guy I took when the pick was on the board.

Because of these trades, I have the following...

QB - Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Christian Ponder

RB - Jonathan Stewart, CJ Spiller, Felix Jones, Pierre Thomas (we only have to start one, and it's only .33 PPR, so I didn't focus on RB at all)

WR - Greg Jennings, Victor Cruz, Stevie Johnson, Marques Colston, Austin Collie, Davone Bess

TE - Jimmy Graham, Fred Davis (1 point PPR compared to .66 for WR and .33 for RB, so I'll be starting Davis in the flex)
