A lot of brilliant people are mentally ill. If we could "cure" mental illness, we would likely see huge advancements in society. Unfortunately, it's a highly stigmatized category of illness, so it doesn't get the research funding that more fashionable diseases like AIDS and cancer get.

Baseball has jumped the shark. It is the most boring game there is out there. You have 15 guys on the roster for one position, ONE FREAKING POSITION.........you know what that means? People that call movies that include great special effects but cheesy acting/plot great movies, are idiots. You want special f/x, buy a video game. Give me a great plot and great dialogue any day.

Marijuana should definitly be legal.

No vehicle should be made/developed to go over the highest posted speed limit in the country it will be driven in. Why have speed limits and then make cars that can easily top that limit 5 times over? Many problems would be solved or alleviated.

That's because, in my probably unpopular opinion:many drugs for mental illness do nothing other than mask the real problems. In terms of understanding and treating mental illness what we're currently doing is along the levels of applying leeches.

I agree with most of this, but take exception with the sandals thing. Guys who look fruity in them aren't buying the right ones. Here in the south, they are necessary and one of the few things about summer that I look forward to.

Considering how many people watch the NBA, MLB, and golf on tv, and how many people listen to rap, and how many people go to watch the summer blockbusters with great special f/x (look how much $ they bring in), and how many dudes wear sandals, I would think these opinions would all mostly be unpopular.
