I don't even like basketball that much but I love the tourney.
It says unpopular, not inaneI hate March Madness - most overrated sports event ever.
Yes, the best tournament in sports should be more like soccer. Can we have ties, too?!?!?I think March Madness should construct itself more like the Champions League -- minus the group stage -- and I don't care if it's not as fair.
We need to revisit this one. If you think Pulp Fiction sucks along with most Tarantino films, that would mean that at least one non-Pulp Fiction Tarantino film was good. Please name that film.pulp fiction sucks. as do most tarantino films.
Reservoir DogsBut thanks to a typo I corrected, I now want to see Reservoir DogeWe need to revisit this one. Maybe? They tried stealing it and claiming it as their own. Plain and simpleFlapJacks said:Metallica was more about the triumph of a style of music than specific musical abilities (They are solid, though). They were the first wildly popular thrash metal/unapologetically metal band.
I'll defend Led Zep for a minute too. They borrowed a lot of stuff and maybe didn't give proper credit sometimes and they are, perhaps, vastly overrated, but, most modern music is not that original and borrows from the music that came before it. Those Blues guys that Zep copied, borrowed stuff from their predecessors too. Zep did play the blues well and gave a unique spin on it, as well as incorporating other influences.
Also not an unpopular opinion. Pretty much common knowledge.Dave Matthews is for frat boys
2 years ago I may have agreed - now I'd take LeBron and the gap appears as though it will only widen.I'd draft Tim Duncan before LeBron James as rookies.

He got shot. Pretty sure, at least, I frame-by-framed it when I first saw it on DVD. Pretty sure that the guy his dad shot wheeled around and got off a second shot. Two muzzle flashes, solid squib work, I wanted to give bonus credit to the guy that rigged it.
Don't get me wrong, I'd date her again but she doesn't make the All ElGuapo teamFixedI love Justin Bieber

Shut your whore mouth. And change that avatar. I was about to be really pissed off at ShaHBucks for this comment.Mila Kunis isn't hot.
Yes it is Homer. Just think she's a tad overratedIt's ok to be gay.Mila Kunis isn't hot.
Interesting...one could make a case for Magic, Kareem, Wilt, West & Baylor all being ahead of Kobe. Not only is Kobe not top-5 of all time (not unpopular), he isn't a top-5 all-time Laker.
I insert Shaq at 4, Mikan at 5, Wilt slides to 6 and Baylor moves to 7, meaning Kobe Bryant holds the same spot for the Lakers as Antonio Davis of the Raptors.Interesting...one could make a case for Magic, Kareem, Wilt, West & Baylor all being ahead of Kobe. Not only is Kobe not top-5 of all time (not unpopular), he isn't a top-5 all-time Laker.
Forgot about Shaq, thought about Mikan and Worthy(for about a second). Geez, that's a pretty good top tier.I insert Shaq at 4, Mikan at 5, Wilt slides to 6 and Baylor moves to 7, meaning Kobe Bryant holds the same spot for the Lakers as Antonio Davis of the Raptors.Interesting...one could make a case for Magic, Kareem, Wilt, West & Baylor all being ahead of Kobe. Not only is Kobe not top-5 of all time (not unpopular), he isn't a top-5 all-time Laker.

Srsly. I think it's pretty much the majority opinion. Turning the clocks forward in early March is ridiculous. This is in no way unpopular.SaintsInDome2006 said:I hate daylight savings time, especially that Congress moved up to earlier in the year (a few sessions back).
Maybe unpopular. Bur correct.College basketball is unwatchable.

It was the way they handled it.I don't know anyone in Metallica, and for all I know, they're all complete jerks. But I can't help but notice that the public turned on Metallica because Metallica didn't want their music to be downloaded for free. What, the band should welcome that kind of illegal downloading as a good thing? Not to sidetrack too much but the argument they made on napster was that they didn't have control of their property. A song that wasn't even released to the public was being downloaded for free. They weren't even making a big deal about their existing music initially. They put their work in and made a song only for it to basically be stolen and given away by someone else before they could show it to the world.Metallica kind of lost me after the whole Napster douchebaggery. Just seemed like a bunch of hypocrites. They basically died to me after And Justice for All.
I used to be mad as hell at them too but as I got older and understood the argument, I side with them more now.
Lars is still a dooche though.

I'd rather watch college football, too.Agreed. College basketball is much better than pro basketball.Infinitely better than the NBA.Christo said:Maybe unpopular. Bur correct.College basketball is unwatchable.
And pro football is light years better than the college game.
Really? This is in no way unpopular.I hate daylight savings time, especially that Congress moved up to earlier in the year (a few sessions back).
Yeah, I think Insein misunderstood you. I agree with you that most people would be in favor of permanent DST.Really? This is in no way unpopular.I hate daylight savings time, especially that Congress moved up to earlier in the year (a few sessions back).
I just assumed everyone loved it, and that most would even prefer permanent DST.
Forget the rest of that Lakers crap, I find this very interesting.I got a lap dance from George Mikans granddaughter in Vegas in the 90s. (not unpopular)
I don't download stuff. I am on record with my low opinion of people that steal an artists work. But these guys were grade A prime dooshes.
