pulp fiction sucks. as do most tarantino films.
We need to revisit this one. If you think Pulp Fiction sucks along with most Tarantino films, that would mean that at least one non-Pulp Fiction Tarantino film was good. Please name that film.

Personally, I think Pulp Fiction was transcendent but most Tarantino films suck.

Reservoir DogsBut thanks to a typo I corrected, I now want to see Reservoir Doge

NONE...not one chick on "Cathouse" is hot.

You'd think for that kind of money you could get a decent looking chick...not some scraggly, snaggletoothed broad that was probably homeless before she got there.

Metallica was more about the triumph of a style of music than specific musical abilities (They are solid, though). They were the first wildly popular thrash metal/unapologetically metal band.

I'll defend Led Zep for a minute too. They borrowed a lot of stuff and maybe didn't give proper credit sometimes and they are, perhaps, vastly overrated, but, most modern music is not that original and borrows from the music that came before it. Those Blues guys that Zep copied, borrowed stuff from their predecessors too. Zep did play the blues well and gave a unique spin on it, as well as incorporating other influences.
Maybe? They tried stealing it and claiming it as their own. Plain and simple

He got shot. Pretty sure, at least, I frame-by-framed it when I first saw it on DVD. Pretty sure that the guy his dad shot wheeled around and got off a second shot. Two muzzle flashes, solid squib work, I wanted to give bonus credit to the guy that rigged it.

Yup.

Not only is Kobe not top-5 of all time (not unpopular), he isn't a top-5 all-time Laker.
Interesting...one could make a case for Magic, Kareem, Wilt, West & Baylor all being ahead of Kobe.
I insert Shaq at 4, Mikan at 5, Wilt slides to 6 and Baylor moves to 7, meaning Kobe Bryant holds the same spot for the Lakers as Antonio Davis of the Raptors.

Forgot about Shaq, thought about Mikan and Worthy(for about a second). Geez, that's a pretty good top tier.

I got a lap dance from George Mikans granddaughter in Vegas in the 90s. (not unpopular)

Metallica kind of lost me after the whole Napster douchebaggery. Just seemed like a bunch of hypocrites. They basically died to me after And Justice for All.
Not to sidetrack too much but the argument they made on napster was that they didn't have control of their property. A song that wasn't even released to the public was being downloaded for free. They weren't even making a big deal about their existing music initially. They put their work in and made a song only for it to basically be stolen and given away by someone else before they could show it to the world.

I used to be mad as hell at them too but as I got older and understood the argument, I side with them more now.

Lars is still a dooche though.
I don't know anyone in Metallica, and for all I know, they're all complete jerks. But I can't help but notice that the public turned on Metallica because Metallica didn't want their music to be downloaded for free. What, the band should welcome that kind of illegal downloading as a good thing?
It was the way they handled it.

I don't download stuff. I am on record with my low opinion of people that steal an artists work. But these guys were grade A prime dooshes. To the point even an avid anti-piracy person like myself was thinking stop helping #######.
