Pretty sure they get the 3 v. 6 games, as those were the games added when the playoffs expanded. If that is the case, expect Cincy v. Houston at 4:30, Minn at GB at 8.

NBC had the NFC 4-5 game in 2010. NBC had the AFC 4-5 game in 2009. I did not look at previous years. I had thought CBS and FOX get to choose which game they want and NBC gets the other two games. Or maybe it is the other way around. Or maybe beginning with 2011 the NFL made the decision to start putting 3-6 games on Saturdays. I don't know anymore.
Nope. Last year NBC had both 3-6 games (Bengals-Texans in evening and Lions-Saints at night). The 4-5 games were on the Sunday (Falcons-Giants and Steelers-Broncos).
I listened to Simmon's roadcast last year (or the year before) that talked about how they selected which game is shown when. I think NBC gets their pick of a game for Saturday night, and then they are stuck with the worst one in the afternoon. Obviously they would get a NFC game if they picked a AFC game (and vice versa).
