Surprisingly, I am in second place at this early stage of the season. My batting average is a woeful 0.2495 (10th place). I anticipated being weak at the corners, but in reality Mora has been one of my more productive players...I don't expect that to last.
Anyway, looking at the WW, there are a couple of attractive names out there, but I do have a limit of 25 WW moves for the year so I can't just spend them haphazardly. Should I pull the trigger to add one or more of these guys???
Chris Duncan - hard to imagine removing Sizemore, Wells, or Dye from my regular lineup, but Duncan may be a nice backup there...probably could play him in front of Overbay at first base???
Josh Hamilton - seems there's a lot of buzz around this guy right now, but my OF is full...at least Duncan gives me 1B flexibility
Aaron Hill - thinking I could move Hall (if he gets on track) to 3B when Mora crashes and slip Hill into the SS role. I guess Hall is more valuable at SS than 3B though.
Shane Victorino - I am 8th in steals right now, so those would be welcome but the OF is full (see Duncan commnets above)
Kelly Johnson - nice looking numbers early for a 2B, but would ride the pine behind Utley on my roster
Maicer Itzuris or Kevin Youkilis - niether really excites me, but they are available third basemen.
The move(s) I am most considering are dropping C. Jackson, C. Patterson, or L. Scott for Duncan, Hamilton and/or Victorino...Good? Bad? Should I try to deal away an OF (maybe Dye?) for a 3B or 1B then fill the OF with one of these WW guys??
