NE will eat Sea for breakfast imo.
They should but of coarse not all games go as planned or look on paper. They could also lose 2-3 other matchups like @ Indy or vs Pitt etc but I went through every game and of coarse there were some upsets through the year. Dont forget Seattle is a very tough away game for any team from the east coast.

The funny thing about people doing these predictions is that they just list the teams and list what they THINK will happen.

In order to REALLY have a good prediction, you have to go through each game of each team and decide if they will win or lose. You did not do this, and as a result you have the entire NFL winning more games (6 more) than it will lose (255-249). Who are these extra 6 games against?

THis whole thing is flawed, and your predictions are obviously not going to come true unless a CFL team decides to play 6 extra games against some NFL teams...

In addition to that, the total records should equal 256-256. So not only are they 6 games under .500, there are a couple more missing.

There is no way that two teams make it out of the AFC North IMO. Their schedule is brutal.
:whoosh: And definitely not at 11-5 and 10-6. In all seriousness, 9-7 might very well win that division.
I may be off a game on both but Clev and Pitt but both should make the playoffs. I mean the Jets I have barely missing the playoffs and Tennesee is the only other legit threat and I see them taking a step backwards this year Clev and Pitt are much better then Cincy and Balt. I also see them being better then all but Dallas in the NFC EAST.

I dont understand how you have the browns losing in the first round of the playoffs to the jaguars, and then the browns losing to the Pats in the second round.

Are you predicting a plane crash that wipes out the entire jaguar team after they defeat the browns in round one, forcing the browns to take their place?

I did go through each game maybe I missed a few when adding them up. I really did go through each game but wth this is just for fun and the way I see it going.

Round 3Patriots 31 Chargers 35
I don't think SD will beat NE in the playoffs. For whatever reason some teams just match up great against certain teams. Maybe SD could beat 30 other teams, but I don't think they beat NE. It's not a lock that SD will have to play NE in the playoffs though, or vice versa. If Manning is 100% then it wouldn't shock me to see IND beat NE, and if SD played IND......

:lmao:Bold prediction!!Also, no way GB goes 8-8. Typical GB fan I'm sure is the response I'll get, but honestly I think GB will split with MIN, take both games against DET and CHI. So that's 5-1 in the conference. That means they'll go 3-7 against everyone else? TB - WINATL - WINSEA - WININD - LOSSDAL - LOSSTEN - WINNO - ?CAR - ?HOU - ?JAC - ?I think those 4 wins are for sure. I disagree with the loss to Dallas as it is @ GB, but I know everyone will pitch a fit if I don't give DAL a win. Those last 4 games are really tough to predict. GB has a tough schedule this year, but if I had to make a predictionNO - LossCAR - WinHOU - WinJAC - LossThat would give GB an 11-5 record. Higher than I thought they'd do. I think GB was a 10-6, maybe 11-5 team with Favre, but with Rodgers I predicted a for sure 10-5 team with little hope to be 11-5. After seeing him play, I think it's possible he could lead them to 11-5. It'll be interesting this year to see how they do with Rodgers! I just think 8-8 is too low. Considering DET and CHI are just awful, and the only improvement MIN made on offense this offseason was Berrian, a glorified WR2. 5-1 against the NFC North isn't too far fetched, and that being said, 3-7 against the remaining 10 is a little low. 6-4 or 5-5 is more like it

I think GB is one of the tough teams to predict this year. I actually have them at 7-9, and feel like they should win more, but I can't figure out which of the losses to switch. They have a very tough road schedule.Wins - MIN, ATL, CHI, CAR, HOU, @CHI, DETLosses - @DET, DAL, @TB, @SEA, IND, @TEN, @MIN, @NO, @JAXThe game at DET is a possibility, but it is game 2 of the season, and I had to give DET a few wins.

Maybe. The only sure win I see on that list is ATL. You are just going to pencil in wins @TB(playoff team), @SEA(playoff team) and @TEN(playoff team)? I think they go not better than 1-2 against those three teams on the road.We have no idea how good GB is going to be with Rogers.

I see it as 256-256. I messed up only when adding up the Green Bay win total. Check your math!!

Why don't you try adding again cause I see it as 256-256 after I added again the only thing I missed was a win for Green Bay which put them to 9-7 instead of 8-8 as I posted. At least if you are going to make a claim that I just threw these numbers out and did not go through each make sure your addition s correct. THANKS. I went through all these games so please stop it.

Hey thanks of coarse the Jags should have been in the second round game sense I had them beating Clev in the first round. I really need an editor, lol.

I just asked a question. IMO, I have a hard time seeing NE worse than 14-2 (but again that's my opinion). Certainly anything can and will happen, but I see the Pats beating either IND or SD and losing one other game they probably should have won and/or didn't care if they won (say ARI or BUF) if they were already locked in to a #1 seed.My opinion is no more valid than any other, thus why I was curious which games someone thought that they would lose.

For the most part I agree with the OP in his opinions. That said....

The Packers will be a playoff team. They really only have 1 ? and that's Rogers. Personally I think he'll do well and they challenge Minn for the North title.

I think most of the NFC is a relative crap shoot except for some teams that just don't have the personnel to compete (like the 9ers at QB for example) Gore can't carry them by himself. But 'zona is a big wild card. Honestly, I think they could go 9-7 just barely squeezing in the playoffs or they could go 3-13. The first few games for them will be key to building the confidence they need.

The NFC East. Should be the most intriguing divisional race as even the Skins have enough talent to win the division if the Cowboys aren't consistant. The Eagles need to find some good hands to catch balls or they won't be in it for long. Alternatively, if the WRs step up, they have the talent to sneak into a div. title here. The Giants will be their typical slightly above average selves. Will they get hot down the stretch like last year? Who knows. Gotta take the Cowboys here I think but really...any of these teams can win it.

In the AFC, and this sux to say as a Jets fan, the Pats are still the best team. As one other poster noted, they just match up so well against SD. And when they play SD, they have traditionally simply been more prepared.

With Favre, I think the Jets "could" make the playoffs. And the schedule is pretty nice. I'm a homer so I won't dwell on them. I just think they're a better team with Favre.

I think Pitt will win the North going away and I like them to get better as the season goes on. This "could" be the team to knock off the Pats. I really like the make up here and if the defense can pick it up a notch from last year they will be tough to beat. The running game will be good as I think WP and RM will compliment each other well.

The Colts and Jags are both playoff teams hands down, but I don't think either improved enough in the offseason to leap over the Pats/chargers.

Overall divisional races are too hard to predict outside of the AFC East, and West.

But if the Jets could just sweep the season series against the Pats...that's as good as a SB win IMO. I know.....Pipe Dream.

As far as the Packers not making the playffs in my predictions it was closer then it looks for them in the division. I had the Packers losing both games vs Minnesota so if they could get a win out vs them they would be right there and in the playoffs if not win that division. I just think the Vikes are better then the Pack this year period.

WOW Seattle I just do not see them being a real contender this year.

GB has a must win @ DET in week two as they face the prospect of starting the season 0-3. If this happens Rodgers will be under the microscope and the season in jeopardy. They still face INDY, MIN, NO and JAX, all teams better than them. And HOU, CAR and SEA as equal caliber teams that they likely split with. I think 8-8 is about as good as they will do and have the potential to do a lot worse. Not an easy schedule IMO.

New England 13-3Jacksonville 12-4Colts 11-5 Dallas 11-5
I think you are off on all of these. I really believe NE is in for a down year. And I can't see JAX overtaking the Colts. Dallas I think hits 13 or 14 wins.
OK I could be wrong but,NE is a lock for 12+ wins in Brady is healthy, I am guessing you think he is not?Jacksonville was on the verge last season and I think Indy is on the decline although I would not be surprised if they made it to the SB. Remember I am not predicting them to have a terrible season just a little decline and Jacksonville build off of last seasons success.Dallas I am a very big fan of but going 13-3 again is a tall order considering they played the AFC East last season and this year they have the AFC North. That is the main reason for me having a decline in their record to 11-5. Obviously I like Dallas sense I picked them as my Super Bowl Champ.

To me they could lose to INDY,SD,Pitt and NYJ once. Not to mention Buffalo maybe once. and at Seattle is no cake walk and every WR should be healthy by then. To me they could go 12- 4 probably worst case with that schedule
