Preseason Games Thread - Observations and commentary from the FBG Shark Pool (2 Viewers)

Nice catch by Sanders that won't make the box score
He's one of the low key better WRs of the last few years. He's no Julio or AB, but he's had a real nice career with Denver and except for that 1st season with Manning where he had 1400/9, he has done it with really bad QB play.

Kinda hate to say it, but Flacco looks kind of good.  Maybe there is some value here with that offense after all.

I am a little behind on DVR but

- draft Sanders with confidence, he's good to go and would not shock me if he leads the team in targets and yards

- Fant suffered what looks like a semi-serious lower leg injruy, took a tough hit the knee

Adam Thielen looking great so far. With all the haziness surrounding the WR2s, Thielen might be a great deal in drafts.
Here's hoping. It might be a little much to ask for his dynasty price to go up. I'll take a good season out of him, no need to be greedy.

The NFL has to move to a 2 game preseason.  None of the good players even play in the first couple games.  At most 1 or 2 series.

It's a complete waste.  Embarrassing for the league.
It's more embarrassing for us honestly. We're the crack heads, the NFL is the dealer driving the Cadillac with a gold chain around his neck.

Will be tough to get his dynasty price up at all, just need him to live up to his current value I suppose.

I hate to say it but I don't see Sanders lasting the year. He looks great but I avoid players coming back from injury. I hope I'm wrong.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter

Denver’s first-round pick, TE Noah Fant, suffered an ankle injury tonight against the 49ers, but it is not considered serious, per source.

Josh Moser @TheMozKnowz

I just spoke to #Packers CEO/President Mark Murphy and he said, “We are still in the process of determining what to do.”

Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo

The other thing being mulled is an 80-yard field to avoid the end zone, source says. But few people seem to know how that’ll even work. Again, stay tuned.

Word out of Winnipeg is the #Packers are mulling holding their starters out of tonight’s game vs. the #Raiders with field conditions in question. Again, Oakland was planning to sit key players. Stay tuned.
