Presidential Debate Thread - Obama vs. Romney (1 Viewer)

I think this debate will be similar to the VP debate--each side will say their candidate did better. Obama did better than in the first debate but I don't think either won.
Considering your bias, thats a clear vote for an Obama win.
Considering your bias, then it's clear that Romney won.
*cough, cough, Max calling out bias, cough cough*
I calls'em likes I sees 'em.

Obama didn't make any more sense than he did in debts one but was much more energetic.

Mitt made less sense with the same energy.

Obama win by default.

Worthless 1.5 hours for all of us.

If Obama was calling it an act of terror, then why did he never once mention terrorists when he talked about the attack in his speech to the UN but talked only about the Youtube video? They knew within 48 hours that the video had nothing to do with it and that it was a planned terrorist attack.
In the rose garden he did not say "acts of terror" until after he began talking about the memory of 9/11. In discussing the attack in Libya he went out of his way to say we need to show respect for religions, and was still a ways off from saying the word terror in his speech. So yes, in the rose garden he did say "acts of terror". So technically he is correct. But what he thought the attack the day before was is pretty unclear other than he thought it had something to do with religion.

HOLY ####.This Libya thing just blew up in Mitt's face. This was epic. Candy jumping in on it, and the crowd cheering. Holy crap. :lmao: :lmao:So owned.
Here's why both sides can say that Obama either did or didn't initially label Benghazi an act of terror. Obama, being an attorney and politician, worded his speech in such a way so that it could be interpreted that he did label Benghazi an act of terror or didn't label Bengahzi an act of terror depending on later events.http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2012/09/30/no-obama-didnt-call-benghazi-act-of-terror-in-speech/

Unfortunately.... :goodposting: The whole Libya thing was a non-story. It was hyped by conservative conspiracy guys like Rush Limbaugh and Breitbart. The majority Americans don't care about it. Romney should have shut up about it, and withheld all criticism. Instead he walked into a trap, and this is what everyone will be talking about tomorrow. I thought Obama was winning pretty clearly even before this exchange, but he killed it here. How will it affect the polling? We'll see; it may completely gut Romney's momentum.
Except no one cares about Libya. Jobs, Economy, Period.
They don't care about the issue. But they do care when one guy ##### slaps the other guy. That's what happened. Obama looks presidential tonight, like a leader. Romney does not. It's that simple.
He has always looked presidential, just never delivered.

Obama drops the 47% grenades....BOOM BOOM BOOM. I cant stand either one of them but Obama took Romneys wallet and set it on fire during tonights debate.

Does anyone actually buy anything that comes from barry's mouth????

Come on, seriously......look at all the numbers....

What has he done ????

Obama clearly won, but it wasnt as decisive as debate 1. Will be interesting to see what impact this has on Romney's recent momentum
Yep, 6% swing to Romney after first debate. I don't see much of a swing back to Obama in the polls (maybe maybe 1%). This one is going to the wire. Whoever wins Ohio wins it.

I thought Obama did better, but it wasn't a killing by any means. I loved the line where he said we might get back to 1.80 or so a gallon if we follow Romney's policies back into a recession. Obama did enough to right the ship.

I honestly didn't think Obama had that kind of effort in him. Mitt was relentless. He was good. Obama was just that much better.
I don't even know how you come to this conclusion other than clear bias.I, on the other hand, am COMPLETELY unbiased :) and can safely say that Romney won this debate. It's about jobs and the economy and Romney hammered him on that and he never recovered.

This was the Rose Garden speech...

Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

If I had to score this out of 100. I go Obama 55 Romney 45. Obama scored more points but the waters seemed so muddied I think most people checked out. I doubt this will move the needle but will probably stop the Romney momentun

Government does not create jobs.A+You Obama supporters need to understand the above because it's true and Obama doesn't understand it.
Hey bro, I know its hard to understand, but big business doesn't have your, or anyone but their own interest in mind - ever.
