I think his M.O. tonight was to come out with a specific gameplan (call them promises if you will). That was a big knock on him before tonight. Even if they are bull####, I think he's following the blueprint a lot were looking for.

Romney doing very well here IMO. And it's a substantive discussion. Very impressive overall compared to other debates.

I do wonder if Romney's not digging himself a hole by denying the true cost of his tax cut though. He does have to find ~$5T in new revenue to offset them if it's going to be budget neutral.

I find it very difficult to believe that a guy who took a $77,000 deduction for his wife's pet horse and plays so many games with numbers that he cant show his returns wants to cut down on deductions.
