Presidential Debate Thread - Obama vs. Romney (2 Viewers)

I think the Obama nerds are so excited because of how low the bar was set for him. He is clearly more lively tonight but its impossible to take him seriously knowing what an incompetent dope he has proven to be.

So who is winning? I'm on a plane.
You won. Those of us watching this are the losers.
This format sucks, either side can say they are winning but it definitely isnt making up any ground for Obama. This format doesnt compare.
But Obama is still ahead. He doesn't need to win. A draw slows Mitt's momentum and as long as his ground game is as strong as it was in '08 (big assumption), he should win.

No clear winner = boring debate
Sorry RBM, but when conservatives such as yourself and Max declare "no clear winner", then it is extremely likely that Obama is the winner.
No Tim....both are having very similar nights. Hitting all the talking points, nothing that's been said has been new or decisive. This is a typical debate with two dooshy politicians. This is what I expected last time.

Obama is getting pissy.
Romney is fighting the moderator every chance he gets
They both are. Romney interrupts and Obama #####es about fair time.
Romney has to fight the moderator. She clearly favors Obama.
You guys are like wrestlers #####ing about the refs. If your political philosophy was so great.....you wouldn't have to blame moderators, media, unions,Woodrow Wilson,Saul Alinsky, the Democrats, etc. etc.

Obama keeps talking about how many jobs he created. He fails to mention the ones which were lost...which happen to be more.

Mitt has a horrible poker face. He always looks constipated when he is listening to a good answer. Happened in the republican debates as well.

Agree. And even if it's a draw, Obama comes out the winner. The clock is not Romney's friend.
 Which guy has the momentum?
No kidding . 2 weeks ago a draw would have been seen as a disaster

Romney has momentum but Obama has the electoral college. Consider this Obama's 4 minute drill, trying to run the clock out. He just has to slow the momentum down and punt the ball away and make Mitt go the length of the field.

Obama set the bar so low last time that he has nowhere else to go but up. If he didn't show up tonight it would actually be a plus for him - that's how low the bar is.

Up until the weekend, Romney did. Unfortunately, his post-debate bounce didn't a) get him past Obama and b) isn't going to last until election day. In fact, it's already starting to fade.

People are starting to wake up, the guy with this question is one of them.

Romney just endorsed Obama. We will get the same as the last 4 years. That's another 69% gains in your stocks. Thanks Mitt. i'll go for that.

Obama resorting to outright lies tonight. He said gas and oil leases & production are up on federal lands when even his DoE released a report recently showing both leases and production are down considerably.

i always find it comical Obama goes after Romney for lowering taxes but mentions he lowered taxes within the first 20 seconds of his answers

LOLOL Mitt complaining about the clock.

This question is AMAZING from the undecided voter who says she's disappointed with the last four years but is concerned that the bad economy was a result of the Bush administration. Finally, some honesty. I thought that was way more powerful coming from someone in the audience than from the prez.

Suck it, Mitt.
