i'm really surprised about where the staff has Warner ranked right now, looks like around QB18?!?!? i guess they have to look at from a season-end totals point of view.
i've got no problems starting Warner week 1 as long as you've got a decent backup behind him.

I got him in the 12th today (pick 117), but the draft had a high guppie-to-shark ratio. Leinart was not picked, at least. He is definitely a QB1 as long as he's the starter and upright.
I'm considering starting Warner over Anderson this week. Stupid risk that may pay off. Anderson is still shaking off the cobwebs, and faces Dallas. Warner faces the lowly Niners. Assuming Warner finishes the whole game without getting injured (BIG IF), I think the risk may pay off.
I would. The bengals have not looked anywhere near stable and Palmer and the receivers are hurt. On the other hand Warner has a relatively easy game vs SF, whom he lit up last year, and he looked great all preseason.
Dont think they pull him until he gets hurt.. which even the most die hard Warners owners are conceding to be a real possibility. GBVK > Picked him up as the 15th QB over the weekend.

Yeah that's what I was thinking - love the matchup. If he blows up, I might play wait and see with Carson and start Warner until Carson shows me something.
