I said all offseason Vick will be $$$$ at his ADP this year.

Concur. I benched Vick in favor of Bulger today because of Vick's stats against Carolina last year.

Good on him. Now if he could do that again so when I start Dunn vs Carolina again, he doesnt end up with 40 yards.

Same roster I have. Took Bulger in the event the pass was still effective, and Vick as I get 1 pt/carry.

I too benched Vick today in famor of Delhomme. While discouraged by my results today, I feel good having Vick as an option on a weekly basis.

Very happy I got him in the 13th round, would have been happier if I started him over Plummer.

Vick has always been able to put up numbers. The major reason why most people dislike him as a fantasy option is that he's the poster boy of an inconsistant fantasy option.
He'll put up 30 points against a good defense 1 week. And then the next week he'll put up single digit points against a horrible defense.

Vick is putting it all together this year. He's going through his reads & throwing it away instead of forcing an int.

Vick did look good today, he was actually looking to pass when he was scrambling, he had more time in the pocket also. The Defense won this game though. Johnny Abraham is a beast. Hopefully he will heal up quick, because without him, the Falcons won't go far.
Still don't understand the Duckett trade. He would have really helped today in the short yardage situations. They gave him up for Lelie who is also in the last year of his contract. Duckett would have helped the team much more this year than Lelie.
Something I didn't like was the Falcons using Dunn in the fourth quarter. When they don't have to run him they shouldn't, especially when he has run the ball 20+ times already. Jerious should have played every down in the fourth.

what to expect out of Vick at home vs. TB this week? Historically, up until last year, he hadn't done well against the Bucs. However in two games last year he was
37 of 64 for 367 yards
4 TDs / 0 INTs - i definitely did a double take on that stat
15 rushes for 80 yards
Tampa is reeling from the Baltimore shutout, Atlanta is coming off a huge opening win at Carolina.

People want to rip on his passing yardage, but don't count in the points from rushing. Just 40 yards rushing equates to 100 yards passing in most leagues.

I don't want to add to them, but I would like to disagree with them. Personally, I do not have the time to do the search, but SSOG and others have provided the raw data to refute the supposition that Vick is inconsistant relative to any other top QB.Thus, this is just a support post.

Vick may be a bargain FF player, but his NFL salary is killing the Falcons for a middle of the road QB.

I'm riding him at QB in two of my leagues now: over Plummer in one, over Bledsoe in the other.
I'm a bit hesitant to start him over Bledsoe (talking heads saying Bledsoe will bounce back with a great game vs. Washington) but thinking Vick should continue to put up Week 1 type stats.

I think some apple juice leaked from my nose I laughed so hard.
Vick is entering the third year in the offense, which is something Mike Holmgren said is necessary to excell at it. So his improved play should be no surprise. I was very glad to realize this, while others in my league all took starting QBs before me, and my guy should out-score most of them.

My point is that no other QB in the league gets the ridiculous hype that Vick does. No other QB in the league could fail to hit on even half of his passes and be told he looked "great."What's your point?..and yet he still couldn't even complete half of his pass attempts.
