Pryor - GONE (1 Viewer)

Ohio State's athletic director, Gene Smith, quickly issued a statement wishing Pryor the best. "We hope he returns to The Ohio State University one day to finish his degree."

Suuuuure you do.

"We understand Terrelle's decision and wish him well in this next phase of his life," Smith said. "We hope he returns to The Ohio State University one day to finish his degree."

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I didn't see it happening any other way. Shame it had to go down like this. I do hope he does well, wherever he ends up. This is best for both parties.

Commish, I don't think anybody expected him to honor the 'agreement' once the vest left.

Considering Tressel's knowledge and complicity in the situation, there should never have been an "agreement" in the first place.

Agree100%

Good riddance. The QB play may actually be better without him anyway. Dude will be out of the NFL within 3 years. 5 if he gets lucky and some dumb team grabs him after he's cut by his first team an thinks he can be a QB3.

I know. That was more for PDG than anyone. He likes to ridicule. I couldn't let him down. I didn't think there was a chance even before this honestly.

You guys see any of the others who were part of this to leave?
From what I've heard/read, the others involved have stayed pretty straight through the whole ordeal. Pryor, on the other hand hasn't skipped a beat. I wouldn't see any advantage for any of the others to go anywhere.

can't believe Joe GrandPa almost climbed into bed with this kid
One of the many rumors I heard (and most of these rumors about OSU have now been or about to be proven correct) is that PSU was bidding on Pryor along with OSU. JoePa had no clue about the bidding though.

JoePa doesn't know what offensive play is called the majority of the time..(And I'm saying this as a PSU fan)

Pretty much. Best case scenario for Ohio State now is that Pryor doesn't talk to NCAA investigators.

Does it really matter? Would he have any sort of credibility?

Yes, if he decides he was "dissed" by the university I can absolutely see this idiot singing like a bird about all the perks he got with no other intent than to ruin the university as much as possible on his way out. Yes, he is that much of a ####### stupid tool. Not only do I hope the door hit him in the ### on the way out, I hope a OL ripped it off the hinge and beat him over the mother####ing head until he turtled into the fetal position and cried mama. But that's just me :bye:

I understand where you're coming from, but let's face it, Pryor was involved in a lot more than we're hearing about. The less he says, the better for Ohio State.

:lmao: Do we think he was smart enough to keep evidence to support his accusations though? It's all about what can be proven.

His credibility wouldn't really matter as long as what he says leads to other people.

Not necesarily. This isn't a court of law. The NCAA doesn't need to prove things beyond a reasonable doubt.

Arena League, were he can play both ways and excel as a defensive back.
He'd be a terrible defensive back. If there's no supplemental draft and he can't enter the NFL this season, I think his calling will be in the CFL, where athletic QBs shine. A year in the CFL could even boost his draft stock.

He said Pryor was paid $500 to $1,000 each time he signed mini football helmets and other gear
Either this guy is an idiot, which he might be, or this is a lie. A booster friend of the program can just hire a kid for a construction job and pay him 20 dollars an hour to do nothing. No one says a thing. I live in the area, and maybe I'm naive, but I don't see very many people shelling out that kind of money for Pryor's autograph. Maybe something else was going on? Who ####### knows at this point.

With these latest allegations, I'd say Pryor might have more than the NCAA to worry about. I could definitely see the IRS getting involved with money like this being handed over, especially, according to the article, this Talbott guy already has some issues with them.

The only positive thing RichRof did at Mich was lose Pryor to OSU. I take back every bad thing I said about him. Well some of them.

I'd have to look it up, but I read Pryor and his Mom already talked to the NCAA last week for 4 hours. Oh, well.
