Confirmed by the cast.  It's a holiday-themed movie that will air on USA in December.

Not too many details released, but something happens in Santa Barbara that compels Shawn, Gus, Maggie, and Vick to all come down from San Francisco to investigate.  

Lassie and Henry will both be in the movie.  When we last saw them, Lassie got promoted to SBPD Chief, and Henry finally got to retire in Santa Barbara and spend more time fishing.  

Cary Elwes has confirmed that he will appear as Pierre Despereaux in the movie.  Other side characters from the series are expected to pop up.  

Script was written by Steve Franks and James Roday.  Both had said when the series finished they were ready to take a break but were open to revisit the characters.  

I just want to hang out some more with Shawn Spencer and his partner, Hollaback Atcha.  Or was it MC Clapyourhands?  Or Sanantonio Holmes?  Or Gus T.T. Showbiz?  ("The extra T is for Extra Talent")

I cannot wait for this.  I hope Netflix brings the series back...I'm going to watch every episode through again.  This was literally one of my favorite shows ever and probably my favorite comedy show of all time.

ION carries Psych reruns.  They run them in order, and will be back to the pilot on Monday.  DVR set.

Psych: The Movie is airing tonight on USA.  One showing in primetime (7CST, I think?) and then again at 11 CST.  I'm busy tonight but plan to stay up to watch the 11:00 running.

I was fairly disappointed in the movie last night.  It had some nice cameos and some of the typical psych stuff but overall I thought it lacked a bunch of the usual charm of the show.  I can't really put my finger on why but it just seemed a bit off.

USA had a run of decent shows. My wife liked Monk, but I didn’t care so much for that one.  White Collar was really good for like 2 seasons and then sucked, and I even thought Royal Pains was a fun watch for a few years. They were never appointment viewing, but we would DVR them. Burn Notice and Psych were the goto shows though - new, re-run, didn’t matter.
