12 Team PPR 4th year dynasty.  Start 1qb, 1rb, 1wr, 2flex, 1te, 1k, 1D   Rest is standard scoring.

Trying to put together a trade for gronk since olsen is at the end of his career and I'm not sure if Ebron will ever pan out. What do you guys think I should offer him?  He is a bottom tier team that wont make the playoffs again, so hes probably rebuilding.. I have my 2018 first I can offer him thatll be in the 9-12 range.  His players of note are Gronk, Carlos Hyde, CJ ANderson, Keenan Allen, Kelvin Benjamin, WIll Fuller and Demarco Murray. He also has rookie picks 5, 10, 17, 23, and some 3rd rounders.  He also has his next year 1st rounder which'll most likely be top 5.  I am not opposed to giving up Hopkins if I can get a big return for him since hes unproven, but id most likely want his first rounder this year or next year plus gronk.

I was thinking maybe Hopkins + Olsen for his Gronk, 2018 1st, and 2017 2.05, but I may not be getting back enough in return due to gronks injuries.  Could also try shooting all my picks + moncreif + parker for gronk. What do you guys think?

If that guy is in a rebuilding mode I don't think he would be willing to give up a 2018 1st that "should be a top 5 pick" plus Gronk for that package.   Hopkins has some stink on him to some people based on last year.  Depending on how he evaluates Hopkins will go a long way to figuring out if you are close or not in this deal.  Personally I would rather keep Olsen as I think he has a couple years left in the tank and Gronk is a huge gamble with his health.  To include Hopkins as well I just don't think it is worth it.

I would prefer to give up some picks and Moncrief and Parker but depending on his value of Gronk that may not be close.

I think you are undervaluing Ebron. He's improved every year, and should see an increase in targets(specifically redzone targets, with Boldin gone. I think Olsen/Ebron is a more than adequate combo.

Also, I don't think you have the WR depth to be trading Hopkins. He's still pretty young, and this feels a bit like selling low on him, and I say that as someone who really likes Gronk.

It come down to how much you like and trust Gronk to stay on the field.  You're a perennial play-off team and he isn't...  If I really wanted Gronk and thought he could be the difference maker, I'd offer him Olsen and the 2018 1st.    Is that 2018 1st rounder an acquired pick in addition to your own?  So you still might have a 1st round pick?

He gets a good, durable TE and an asset to help rebuild.

You move on from Olsen to YOUR TE of choice at the cost of a future 1st.

He may or may not value Gronk highly given how often he has been unavailable.  If necessary, you might have to include a Parker or perhaps the 3.10 to make it happen.

ETA: No way do I give you Gronk and a future 1st for Hopkins.

Not sure why he would want Olsen if he's rebuilding.  You need to appeal to his sense of youth.  Mariotta, Perkins, Parker, Enron, Hooper are going to be a lot more attractive to him.  If you want to move Olsen find a contender once you have Gronkowski.

For Gronkowski, I would have no hesitation in offering Mariotta, either TE, and his choice of Perkins or 2018 1st, take back whatever QB with a pulse he has.  You have small lineups with only two flex so depth isn't that important and you'll find someone on waivers later.   If you really want to make it interesting give him all of the above and have him toss in Murray.

Some guys who are "rebuilding" also want to be competitive now.  it kinda sucks going into the season thinking you don't have a shot.  Olsen gives him a Gronk replacement for the immediate future. He could even target a rookie TE with the 1.10 and give him a year to develop.

But, you may be right, the guy could only want young assets.  But you won't know that until you make an offer.  I'd start with Olsen because he is expendable with Gronk and still considered a valuable piece.

If you want gronk, make an offer for gronk. If you want his 1st, make an offer for that. If you want to be shrewd make an offer where you exchange 1sts as part of a package. I agree with the above though, likely will take moving youth. I'd honestly stand pat with Olsen/Enron. Not gaining much unless gronk is beastly.
