Pretty good rankings. I think there is a pretty clear drop after 8 (or 9 w/Ben). I would have Tebow and Flynn higher, but that is really nitpicking. The biggest disagreement I would have would be Manning. I think there is a big enough chance that he never plays again that I would rank him around 20 or so.

So where does Luck fall on this list? I understand a lot depends on where he lands, but based on talent alone, how high shold he be ranked?

Good stuff. It seems to me like there's a pretty big drop off after Rodgers and Cam.

I personally think there are currently 5 elite QBs, and 3 are on the wrong side of 30 (Vick, Brady and Brees). So the 2 guys who are both elite and young really have a ton of value.

I think you can make an interesting case for Ben Rothlisberger as a top 5 or 6 guy. He's just a notch below elite, but he still has a lot of years left and he has been so consistent. Plus, the Wallace-Brown-Sanders trio looks like one of the best young stables of WRs in the league.

I do think there is much more separation in the top 6 or so now than there was this past offseason. Many of the promising younger QBs who were being drafted in the same range as the older guys like Brady (Freeman, Bradford, etc.) have really struggled this year. Personally, I'm pretty comfortable owning a guy like Brady without too much concern, despite his age. Just seems like these top QBs who don't really rely on their athleticism much should be able to play at a high level into their late 30s.

Lastly, I think you probably have Tebow a bit too low. Admittedly, he may not last as a starter for long. But, if he does he is a top 6 guy due to all the rushing yards and TDs. I'd much rather have a boom or bust guy like him than some of the other known QB2 types you have ranked ahead of him.

Joe Flacco on the year once again right there with Ryan and ahead of Sanchez and Freeman and he is behind all here. Never get why he gets dropped to behind each of them. I rate him above all and he keeps proving it to me. I think Baltimore has finally found an identity on O with the fast pace and that he will be top 10 for rest of the year and in dynasty deserves to be here. Love what they got going on in Baltimore for O parts with Smith, Dickson, Pitta, Rice and improved the OL. Add in Boldin is still not done

Several things

1) I'm not sure what your scoring rules are but Tebow is almost always in the top 10 even with his current crop of bad WRs and TEs. His rushing yards and 2 yard TDs should be taken into account.

2) I don't think Peyton is going to ever QB again in the league. Plus he's 35.

3) Sam Bradford at 12 - if he ever plays more than 13 games in a season, I'll be gobsmacked.

4) Flacco - he's good but the whole team is built on ball control and strong defense. Can't believe they'll have an open offense.

5) Kevin Kolb - I'm not sure what the reason for his hype is but one would think that the QB of uber-stud Larry Fitzgerald would be better.

I like Tebow where he is and maybe even drop him down a few spots. He has some gaudy fantasy football ability, but his QB ability is terrible. If he figures out a way to be a consistent passer then I think he moves up, but right now it looks like he's never going to come around. A lot of people expect the Broncos to acquire a QB for the future at some point this offseason.Speaking of rushing QBs I think I'd have to drop Vick down a few spots. He's come back down to earth and Philly fans are screaming for Andy Reid's head. On top of that I'm not sure how much longer he'll be an elite scrambler. I have a feeling it'll be a rapid decline typical with a lot of scrambling QBs.

Um, he played all 16 last year and if he plays out this season he will have played 14 this year..consider yourself gobsmacked

The present reality is Tebow has the Broncos in the playoff hunt. He's winning football games. I'd say his QB ability (obviously his passing isn't great) is a big part of their success. You may have hit the nail on the head. Tebow may be better than Vick because of his vision as a pure runner (he's simply the definition of spread option QB), but I do concede that there is some question as to what his future is. He may not be the Broncos future QB, but I would bet that some team out there thinks they can win with him. I'd probably rank Tebow in the 14-20 range though.

...with an injury history where he would have sat out a whole season (probable). I won many games with Peyton but to believe he would be the 12th QB off the board is a little too much. His injury history alone will push him into low QB-2/high QB-3 status; only the truly delusional would take him as anything more than a flier, right now.
