QB Huard - Active (1 Viewer)

Should have posted that.......it is two different guys visual interpretations of what a limp is....one guy is more of a shock jock type, which is the guy who said there was a noticeable limp.I have a disdain for all KC media, so either one could be the answer. They are all trying to make the best story
Ok, thanx.

Huard has a noticeable limp...
Huard wasn't limping much...
Hey Kevin, These posts are 45 minutes apart.

Do you know which one is the most accurate?
It's being reported both ways by the KC media. The only truly accurate report right now is that Huard did practice (it's being reported that he didn't). BUT, it was in a limited fashion. Instead of doing quick drop backs and such, he walked through everything. He didn't do anything that would have tested the injury. So we really don't know anything at this point, except that he'll be a GTD.

According to FOXSports insider John Czarnecki, Damon Huard may take a painkiller to numb a strained groin muscle. If the medication works, Huard will start.Otherwise, it will be rookie Brodie Croyle.Czarnecki went on to suggest the Chiefs are counting on Huard, but if Croyle goes, look for a heavy dose of Larry Johnson, who rushed for a season-high 132 yards last Sunday versus San Diego.

John Clayton said (on Sportscenter) that Huard was "in uniform" and warming up to check the groin - indicating that he's at least planning on starting @ this point. Whether he can actually finish the game will likely be the ? here.

No link. :bye:

Jay Glazer on FOX said he spoke with Huard a little while ago and said that Huard said that "he feels like garbage." He was going to try to gut it out, but Glazer reported that Herm told Croyle to "be ready at any moment." I just dropped Huard for Romo.

Matt

Why is Printers inactive if Huard feels so bad?? I'd say that chance of Huard getting knocked out of this game is very high, especially now the the Hawks know that he's hurting..

What do you do to a guy with a strained groin to knock him out of the game? Pull on it? It's not like a sore shoulder, or a gimpy knee or something.

Len Dawson on KC radio 810 does say Huard will start. However he said he looks very gingerly in warmups and says there may be a high chance that Croyle plays some if Huard can't last the full game or if he is not performing well. Risky play. Good luck guys!

Make a sudden move and pull it. I would say chances are high he could leave the game and higher that he could pull it.. Is it worth the risk??

I wouldn't play him. But saying a Seahawk player is going to "knock him out of the game" is just...odd. It's just like a hammy type of injury, nobody is going to knock you out of the game by going after it.

Obviously you pressure him more, because the more he gets knocked around, the better the chance it's aggravated. This really shouldn't of needed an explanation...

I don't think you understand the nature of the injury. It's a strained muscle. Getting knocked around hurts bones and joints. Over-exerting yourself hurts muscles.
