Regardless of how "good" he is, he is the right tool for the job in that offense. Can't argue with that, no matter how much it pains me.
They have the best RB, OL and top 5 receiving/TE group in the league and it’s not close, yet they play offense like they are the 1948 SMU Mustangs. He stinks at QB and he’s not getting faster or agile.
He just sat there and ate that safety.
Supporting cast can make stats deceptive, sure, but there's just no way that #21 all-time in career passer rating (higher than Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford) who is also #3 on the list of career rushing TD's for QB's, stinks at QB.
Career passer rating. Cmon man, let’s real talk. You think that stat means anything in relationship to talent?
Also for you stat nerds…
Did both players play under the same exact circumstances against the same exact players, with the same time of possession, with the same defensive health, with the same coaching, with the same time a day, with the same weather conditions? Same down and distance?
Unless those are all the same stats are meaningless.
So by your measure, Jalen Hurts is the 23rd best QB ever?
