QB Patrick Mahomes II, KC (3 Viewers)

Was watching the game with my wife when Mahomes got hurt yesterday. For years I have been rooting against him, wanting him to fail. Why? Now I have no idea..I guess it was because he was so good, always managed to pull out last second wins in the biggest of games. The perceived be it right or wrong calls in the Chiefs favor. Mahomes did flop a few times but all QBs do. Then it was the Kelce-Swift story line that added to it.

Yesterday when he got hurt I felt so bad. I then said to my wife Why was I rooting against him all the time? The guy is as talented as any QB in the NFL, as smart and tough as any QB, never gets into off the field issues, great teammate and family man and future HOFer.

I think it was Chief fatigue.

Hopes Mahomes returns 100% and back to what he does. Going forward I will appreciate his greatness.
Mahomes had a unique something where I didn't hate him. But I wouldn't second guess your hate, it a compliment and as you see in this dynamic it wasn't real.

All good teams get annoying, hell duke went from scrappy underdog to totally annoying less than two years 91-92 or so

Does Mahomes ACL cause Travis kelce to retire?
I was going the other way, I assumed Kelce was done and now I wonder will he not want to go out like this

Was thinking the same, that now I’m not so sure. he doesn’t appear to have significantly declined either despite what some posters might say. He may not be putting up 1,400 yards and double digit TD’s but he’s still playing better than most of the Tight Ends out there. Should finish the year just under 1,000 yards receiving and half a dozen TD’s

The NFL announcers and talking heads pimping him ALL THE TIME creates a fatigue among some viewers. The same thing happened with Brady.

Nah, his duel fake outs when he running the side line and baiting defenders to get a penalty is what turned a lot of us against him... then the cry baby reactions he would have if anyone ever touched him.

Then you must have hated Brady with a passion because he was the biggest cry baby in the history of the position.
