I see a lot of people on here and in my everyday life talking about the best NFL quarterbacks. In the discussion people always seem to resort to measuring how good a quarterback is by how many superbowl rings they have. If a team wins a superbowl that means the team itself is really good, but there can be amazing quarterbacks who are on ####ty teams, which means they never win a superbowl, but that doesn't stop them from being good quarterbacks. For example, Archie Manning was a great quarterback who was/is highly respected by everyone in the league, however he had a ridiculous amount of losing seasons with the Saints and 0 superbowls. So do you think a quarterback has to have a superbowl ring to be considered in the "best qbs of all time" category?
