Question about July 30th Cheatsheets. (1 Viewer)

I was wanting to know how the VALUE data for the OVERALL was determined for the cheatsheet.

http://footballguys.com/08pprcheat.htm

ex: Why was L.Tomlinson considered a value of 200, etc. ( I can see how Westbrook was 174).

Thanks!
The value is calculated by subtracting a baseline value from the player's projected points. I'm not sure how the baseline is calculated, maybe it is Joe's "secret" formula. But if you subtract the value of the top player at each position from his projected points you can find the baseline value for each position.

Ah, so it's a secret?

Yeah, I guess you worded it correctly: I wanted to know how they determined the baseline to compare across positions.

Like why LT is a Value of 200 compared to Brady, who was lower.

Maybe someone on the staff can help me; as I have a unique scoring system, and I have the total points per player per position. However, I am having a hard time converting this to the VALUE system on seen on the cheatsheet.

Thanks!

It is roughly based upon the expected top 100 picks or roughly first half of your draft.article from the archive - see determining your baseline
