So, it's widely understood that players 'up their game' and are highly motivated to produce during their Contract Year.
My question is, how big of a dropoff in productivity can be expected once a Player signs his new Contract and gets his $$ ?
Part of what scares me about Brandon Marshall this year (besides playing on a run-first team, and playing with a new QB, and various intangible issues..) is now that he's signed his new Contract and earned his guarantees, how much of a motivation/production drop off should we expect from him, and other players who have also signed new deals??
