I have been the commish of a keeper Football league currently in it's 6th year.
Each year we have a veteran and a rookie draft. During the season team's have 28 roster spots for offensive and defensive players as well as 6 Taxi Squad positions (players can remain on taxi as long as they haven't played a game in our league).
Each of the 12 owners are allowed to keep 12 veterans and their 6 Taxi Squad players. The league remains very competitive and there always seems to be alot of owner activity the only problem I can see is that each year we have the 4 rounds of rookie picks but because each team can keep all 6 Taxi Squad players it kind of defeats the purpose of having a separate rookie draft. I don't want to reduce the number of TS players kept and I would like to keep the non salary format for now so I was wondering if any other commishes run similar leagues and how they handle the Taxi Squads and rookie drafts each year.
Sorry for the worded post but would appreciate feedback.
Thanks...
