Quinn Gray -- any dynasty value? (1 Viewer)

Leftwich has been dinged up and I believe his contract is up at the end of the year. Garrard has two years left on his deal. Gray was tendered this year (I think 2nd round level) but no other team would give it up for him.

Is he worth stashing for a shot in Jax or elsewhere next year? Could he land a spot like Schaub did or will he simply be a clipboard holder killing a spot on someone's bench?

Thoughts?

I was thinking of targeting him after the game they had against KC last year. Apparently so did everyone else as he isn't available in any of my deep dynasty leagues. However, after taking a step back and reanalyzing, I really don't think he will ever be given a legit shot and I don't think he really brings much ability to the table other than scrambling.Could this change with some seasoning? Sure. But I don't understand why J-ville is interested in Culpepper if they had any faith in any of the guys on their roster. If they bring in Culpepper, Gray may very well be cut. They would basically have 4 QB's that are almost clones of each other.

I agree with the  , particularly on the point that he may not be given a legitimate shot to be a starter somewhere a la Cleo Lemon.Re: Culpepper, Here's what Garrard had to say:
"I was told [by Jaguars management] we have to bring him in to look at him," Garrard said after Wednesday's offseason training activity session. "[Culpepper] has a good relationship with [Jaguars assistant head coach] Mike Tice from their days together in Minnesota. If I'm the owner and I can get somebody cheap like that, it'd be dumb [not to consider it].

I like his prospects but like the others have said in this thread I dont think he gets a legit shot unless injuries hit JAX big. I do however think hes better than Garrard and would have liked to have him on the roster in Houston. Last I heard of him though was that after they annouced that Leftwich was the starter, he said he wasn't gonna sign the tender the JAGS offered him. Did this change?
