R.Johnson - Week 14 (1 Viewer)

Rounders

Okay for all the R.Johnson owners that made the playoffs or are still playing what are you doing with Rudi this week? He has a nice matchup against St.Louis, however he seems to be in a RBBC with Watson and Dorsey.

Rudi is still getting the goalline looks, but is he a good start this week?

i'd start him.

in both league i have him i have the bye but i'd start him for sure vs that D

i have him in both leagues and i am definatley starting him in one. maybe both. when the bengals have the lead or are in a close game, marvin lewis actually uses rudi. its when they get down and its passing time that kenny watson comes in. as long as they arent down, rudi should see 20 carries hopefully a few of them are on the goalline

Not completely true but close. Rudi will get more playing time than Watson/Dorsey if they are winning and will definitely carry the rock if/when they are milking the clock while Watson/Dorsey will play on passing downs. But Watson will see his touches regardless of the score or situation. Period.

Starting him with confidence. TDs in his last two games against tough defenses and now the sweet part of his schedule has finally arrived. I think Rudi's poised to do some good things from here on out. At worst, I see him as a solid RB2.

Thanks packersfan. You and I have been watching this one closely all year, so I appreciate your input. I think that I have to start him, my options (Dayne/Henry) are not looking that good, but I was curious to see what others were doing with Rudi.

It's been a frustrating year, that's for sure. I don't know if Rudi will go off and put up Rudi-esque numbers (i.e. over 100 yards and multiple TDs). But the matchup is very good; Lewis clearly remains in his corner which means he'll get carries and he will get the goal-line looks. Anything can happen obviously but on paper this is a very good week to go with Rudi. I do like Henry this week for what it's worth if he isn't suspended. Young is Tatum Bell Redux and I'm not sure if Hall will be healthy enough to steal a lot of carries.

I know it's only the first ranking...but I definitely do not get Rudi's of #36. His projection is for only for 15 carries...

It hasn't been RBBC for the past 2 games why would that change now?

exactly. rudi - 39 carries. watson - 9 carries.i've been saying it all year - when rudi is 100% healthy he is the man in cincy. it's just tough for a guy to come off his first major injury and face buff, balt, zona, ten, pitts. i almost wish he didnt have the type of schedule he has to finish off the year cuz all you haters who dont watch football would see those numbers and pass on him draft day.
