R Moss becomes a WR/3 or WR4 (1 Viewer)

that pass interference at the end could've been an easy td, he got the call and pretty much stopped playing
very  He catches that ball this tread would not be here. Now with PH hurt his value goes up
Unfortunately we don't get fantasy points for pass interferences against. I really thought he would light it up with the Vikes and they'd chuck it up to him 5 or 6 times a game. His productivity so far has been extremely dissappointing.
Yup. I'm also surprised by the inability by the Vikings to throw more deep balls to him. Even if he's struggling to gain separation you still have a 50-50 chance he could catch it or draw an interference penalty. The one deep ball Favre attempted yesterday was to Harvin. Seems to me that if you have Moss you might as well send him deep at least once a quarter and give it a shot. It's not like the Vikings' offense is piling on the points and winning games with its current approach.
;)

Guys, remember all the positive press this offseason? He was in the best shape of his life, he looked faster, he was catching everything and was uncoverable.Just store this bitter taste away for the next time we hear that sort of thing.
The trade to Minny was the window. I was telling everyone on this board to sell and that he wasn't the WR he used to be and this wouldn't be the slam dunk people thought it was. For those that missed it, you have to bench him till he blows up (if that even happens) and then sell immediately for whatever you can get, or target some other position and hope his name value gets you a shot at a buy-low. I bet an offer for DWill would at least get considered.

The problem is...he did not catch the ball. He gave up on it...part of what people are going to say about him is that he is not giving his all.To this point, NE look like geniuses for getting those picks out of Minnesota for him.
I've watched all the Minny games since he's came back and the problem is his 1/2-3/4 speed on his route running. How can you expect Favre to look his way when 90% of the time he's running such lazy routes. You'd think a guy whose contract expries this year at his age would be giving 100%. I haven't made up my mind yet whether he'll start next week even against the Cardinals at home. I might start TB M. Williams or T Jones over him.

I own Moss and Williams has been the superior WR this season. I think that's an easy call at this point. With Williams, you know he's going to be the No. 1 option in the passing game and he's going to get plenty of targets each week. With Moss, he's not even the No. 1 option among WRs on the Vikings now (Harvin is). The matchup certainly is one that on paper would seem to give Moss a real chance but I think you go with the guy who's clearly getting it done consistently and who's locked into a prominent role in the passing game and that's Williams.

I might move Mike Williams (Tampa) into my starting lineup and bench Moss. That way I can get Blount in at my flex spot.

Moss just seems to do everything half-assed. Doesn't block, won't run routes over the middle, and just kind of mopes around out there.

It is really embarrassing to watch.
