RAIDERS @ BRONCOS - Game Thread (1 Viewer)

I know there was a lot of hate last year, but I really miss the Mike & Mike & Mike announcing team. So much more personality than these two.
Agreed Twilight, this sounds more like a Friday Night ESPN2 West Coast college football game with a start time back East of 10:30PM.

 Trent Dilfer played with Mike Alstott for many years and he "never thought of a Fullback as a weapon" :lol:Where is Premier?
to be fair, Alstott was just a big RB.
You can say that about Riggins, Franco Harris, Earl Campbell, the point is he doesn't even think a Fullback can be a weapon, that's just stupid IMO.
C'mon man, you know he's referring to the lead-blocking backs that we consider FBs today. I don't care how low your opinion of Dilfer is, you can't seriously believe he didn't think of the A-Train as weapon.

Imagine the damage Hue could draw up with a few NFL-quality WRs? I'd be on the phone with Owens NOW.
I think we have some NFL quality wideouts. They just aren't known yet. to TO
We have a few capable guys who will have good games when you don't predict it. But in the end, they are all just some guys with the possible exception of Ford. What I'd like to see is a superstar WR in this offense. Just because it didn't work drafting DHB so high doesn't mean you stop trying to get one. Owens is old, sure. But he was old last year and he had a great season. He's a professional. If he's healthy, I'd love to have him.

The Raiders have done an eqsuitite job rotating their defensive linemen. They are keeping 'em fresh.

On the last third and 15 pressure was easily applied past Ryan Clady by their main sack man, Matt Shaughnessy, who had been resting the entire drive up until that point.

That was a clean break up. Fans are idiots for booing the no call.
Except for the part where Routt was pulling on Lloyd's right arm and then put his body into him, I agree with you.
 what alternative universe game are you watching? That was completely clean. slow it down if you want.
Usually if the DB doesn't know where the ball is--Routt didn't--even the slightest hint of contact draws a flag. That play is PI in the majority of cases where you see it.

Didnt know Woodson was coaching now.He was average on TV so hope this works out for him.
Considering who the Raiders lost at CB, I have been impressed with their pass defense so far. Then they flashed Woodson on the sidelines and I wasn't so surprised anymore. Looks like he is doing pretty good so far. Can see him moving up the ranks in the next few years. He wasn't bad on TV, just a little too much valium at times.

I have nothing to add, other than Trent Dilfer is horrible. He may be my least favorite TV personality going right now.

How can you blame the QB for that incompletion? The ball was INBOUNDS when he caught it! DHB was the idiot jumping sideways out of bounds! If he just slowed down a tad and didn't jump, he could have caught it, hit another gear and had a TD.
