Darius' window may have closed. The Texans and Panthers have both grabbed players in the meantime. The Packers seem to have settled on Bigby. He's not a great fit in Atlanta with Milloy seemingly entrenched at SS.
Moses slipped significantly from combine to draft and still further if he couldn't force Tyler Brayton off a roster. I suppose it's possible that an end starved team might take a chance on him (eg Detroit) or maybe Arizona takes a flyer to see if he fits as a 3-4 OLB.

Well, I loved the way Moses looked last year, but he just isn't strong enough. I am surprised and expect him to get a shot in a 3-4 system. Remember he arrived at Georgia on a BBall scholarship and focused on football because of the BBall program's problems. Still, some fall for the former SEC defensive player of the year. I'm stunned, but I wrote around here somewhere that his play didn't match the coach's praise. This rookie class was advertised as very weak, and these last few days we're seeing that poignantly in some cases. Pittman should be at Ohio State. Ouch.

huh? Not sure what Nancy saw that I didn't, but Richardson very clearly outplayed Moses in each preseason game. I didn't see what went on on the practice field, but he showed much more effort and difference-making ability during the games. Moses floated while Richardson churned, that's what caught my eye. As a raider fan, I hoped that Moses would stick, but I can see why - if they had to choose one - they chose Richardson.

I've seen that he was inactive weeks 1-4, but has there been any talk of how he's catching on, chances for activation, etc.?

Considering how late he came in or went to them, I doubt there would be much action for the first half of the year. It is a good question in regards...how is he doing at practice and working into their scheme. I know they were high on him, so he must be what they thought he was. The Arizona Cardinals signed Tim Hasselbeck Tuesday as the team’s third quarterback behind injured starter Kurt Warner and Tim Rattay. Hasselbeck, the brother of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, was the inactive third quarterback for the New York Giants for all of last season. In 2005, he appeared in two games for the Giants but did not attempt a pass. Hasselbeck, who originally entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with the Buffalo Bills in 2001 out of Boston College, has also played backup roles for Philadelphia and Washington. To make room on the roster, the Cardinals released defensive end Quentin Moses.
Cut twice now in a couple of months. Considering the physical skills he is supposed to have, I have to wonder if his work ethic / ability to learn the game / desire is a factor. Anyone hear anything more about his latest release and/or possible landing spots?

Thanks, turnit.Wow...Moses taken at the top of the 3rd round of the NFL draft, not injured, dropped by two different teams, and looks like he may never play a down in the NFL...incredible.

The Chiefs have a roster spot open after the trade of running back Michael Bennett to Tampa Bay, but if they sign Moses, they would place him on the practice squad.
Rotoworld speculates that the Cardinals are trying to sign him back to the practice squad, but he's taking a look to see what else is out there.
