Raiders/Niners TNF: Battle for the basement (1 Viewer)

to quote Tom cruise in Tropic Thunder, •a nutless monkey could do your job”

the remarkable thing is that the Bears are going to get a great pick back in the Mack trade.
I’m an Eagles fan but if they don’t repeat, I want the Bears to win the Super Bowl and the Raiders to finish 1-15 just so that part of the trade winds up being a 1-pick upgrade. ?

And there’s another blown coverage by the Raiders! ??

To sorta toot my own horn, when that trade was made I made a case that the Raiders might have only moved up about 15 picks in the draft next year, I may been giving Oakland too much credit.

Yeah the Raiders are tanking this. They be like “forget Bay Area bragging rights. We going to Las Vega$ anyway” lol

Hahaha Oakland was short a man on the xp. Wouldn't have made a difference but it speaks to how poorly disciplined they are.

Not that you asked me, but when I heard Bethard was out, I pulled Kittle and started Gronk.
My opponent benched Kittle for Njoku. I can see benching him if you had other quality options. In hindsight that was obviously a mistake, but there were reasons to consider it coming in.

Yeah, I mean tanking is one thing. This is coaching malpractice.
I thought the hire was a bad idea from jump, but ... Gruden did win a Super Bowl, right? That wasn’t a fever dream I had from some alternate timeline, was it?

This team is playing like their coach has never set foot on a football field before.

Why would you start some guy averaging 6 points a game with 1/3rd of his points in the first week when you could be playing known superstar George Kittle?

Traditionally a big receiving TE is a young QBs best friend.

He lost the locker room after the Cooper trade. Popular player - and he’d just assured the team he wouldn’t be dealt.

they learned about it on Twitter.

carr’s initial response was “you’re joking.”

not a good situation.
