**Rams at Eagles**(-3.5, 44.5) 1:00 (5 Viewers)

Best.

Play.

Ever.

When you’re allowed to jump the snap every time it sure is.
It will more than likely be banned next year. You can only cheat your way to wins so many times before the league takes notice. After it does get banned, Eagles won't even sniff the playoffs. It's all they got. There's a reason why they have to use the tush push - it's because their QB can't throw very well.
ridiculous take. And it's been covered ad nauseum. Apply traditional QB sneak conversion rates and Eagles lose MAYBE one more game over the last 2 years...good luck picking which one
Absurd response. Reeks of homerism with no basis in fact. But your opinion is your opinion.

I hope we look at a sample size of all NFL teams and go to the 1000th second in slo mo of regular offensive line play and see how many false start occur in real time across the entire nfl

lol 1000th second. They should call penalties when they’re obvious on every team yes.

And they do. watching the mental gymnastics to justify all the cheating in critical situations is pretty hilarious
There’s a whole thread for the constant bitching about this play. Can we keep this one semi-clear of the complaining?
That play is a part of this game, and this is the game thread of that game.

And much like every game it was a huge play in so many eagles wins and it should be 3-0 rams
Not necessarily. If they correctly call the false start on the first tush push, it becomes 4th and 6 and the Eagles likely kick a field goal.

As an AJ owner...Hurts looks lost and the coaches don't appear to trust him to throw the ball

As a fellow AJB owner, I’m officially getting very worried.

The curse of the running QB is undefeated. There's a reason they run and need help into the endzone.

Please keep crying. Its great
Please. If it wasn’t your team you’d be saying the same **** Homer. Try being objective, it won’t hurt ya.

No chance...the hypocrisy is out of control
No Eagles fan is rooting for the refs to not call penalties and be blind to this play let’s not be silly. In the official Tush Push thread all of us Eagles fans clearly state the refs should call it right and if they don’t the NFL needs to fix how the officiate it.

At the same time you’re not gonna find many fans upset when an obvious call isn’t called against their team.

This is not being a hypocrite this is being a fan.
Telling those same fans to “keep crying” when you agree it’s BS is being a hypocrite though.
re is an aspect to the way being are arguing against it and not being principled. We hear everything and nothing all at once

“It’s injury risk” it’s not
“it’s rugby!” It’s not
“It’s not pleasing to the eye!” So what
“The refs just can officiate it” they can

It’s not that we are being hypocrites in fact it’s us pointing out the hypocrisy of trying to ban it and the false arguments against it

we are really gonna sit here and say “welp that’s it! Refs can’t call an easy football play of the most simple thing to officiate - whether a team is offsides or not” and just ban a play

That seems insane to me is all really lol

seriously? Whats the traditional success rate of a QB sneak? (Hint: it's well over 80%)
I get that you hate the play. I get that it's very hard to stop, but "the Eagles cant win without it" is an objectively garbage position to argue

I have no issue, nor would I expect the fan to root for a penalty on their team. But talking **** to the opposite fan base about what you agree is the obvious foul not being called is hypocritical. Enjoy the fact that your team is getting the advantage, but you don’t need to rub other people’s nose in it.

"objective" to a homer, yes. "objective" to everyone else, negative.

Hurts can't throw which is why he runs. And he can't do that very well since he needs help getting into the endzone. All I'm saying is that w/out that play, all you have is Barkley.

I actually agree. Glad they didnt call it, but they need to call it. Don't think it made a difference on the play that time, but it could have, and should be called

I would suggest you stop making it personal. You know nothing about me and prefer to react like an emotional child instead of just being civil and objective.

Maybe you should sit this one out.

Are you aware of the last 3 years of football, the Eagles have made the Super Bowl 2x?

Are you aware during that same span there was a push by the league to ban this play?

Wanna guess which year there was no move to ban the play?

So yeah there is bad blood about the play all around I promise you.

As an Eagles fan, gotta feel like your team is being targeted …is what it is

non objective repeated attacks can feel personal. And no....you are NOT objective on this. You can say Im not, but I have the data. QB sneaks enjoy a VERY high success rate. Strong O line, QB with powerful build....he'd enjoy a very good traditional sneak success rate...that's NOT A SUBJECTIVE TAKE

Eagles record without Lane Johnson is way worse than it is with him. No one else on the team in the past 15 years makes the same kind of difference.

Eagles are such a bizarre team.

They're the only team I can remember where they're perennially such a good team, but there's always some season long panic about how crappy they look.

Is he an adult? Or a child? Maybe he should act like an adult.

Also, it is a subjective take. But let's say you're right - you have to remember that he also has to THROW the football, he can't be QB sneaking on every play. And, as we've seen, throwing is a problem for Hurts, like most (but not all) running QBs.
