RAMS @ COLTS GAME THREAD (1 Viewer)

Uhh, Luck looks like a top 5 QB
Do they get to play the Rams at home every week?
Did you already forget there was a rookie QB who finished top 5 last year? He was 1 foot away from three touchdowns in less than 1 half
How many TDs did that rookie QB run for?
14 and I believe he was #3 QB in most formats. Wouldn't be surprised to see Luck pickup a couple on the year. His passing numbers will likely bury Newtons
Newton had over 4K yards last season. So what would a "burying" consist of? Luck throwing for 7K?
4500 36 tds 14 int. That's my prediction

why do you guys continue to ask questions you already know the answer to? what kind of circle jerk is this?
And you are?
That was Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. He was damned glad to meet you.

we just witnessed him dice up the 1st and 2nd team defense of the st louis rams. i think we need to show some constraint before crowing him a top 5 QB this season :lmao:

7k is his floor IMO. :boxing:

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. That TD-INT ratio is nothing short of absurd though.

Yeah we will see. My other prediction. Chiefs win AFC West. Not worried about the horses Manning is not back to old form

What do you guys think of the WR's for each team based on what we saw?
collie looked to have some good chemistry with luck. wayne was out there but was never targetted. brazill looks good and ty hilton could provide a spark.for st louis, i don't think any receiver really stood out. kendricks was targetted early, steve smith as well. there was also a quick siting... it's still a cluster####.

I always liked Luck better in dynasty than RG3, but I was pretty convinced that Griffin would have better stats this season. Now... who knows. I can assure you that whichever one I choose in redrafts this year will be the wrong choice.

Par for the course.

Up against a 2-14 team, in preseason.

My "mockery" of Luck is more a shtick than anything, he has amazing assets. I believe he will be in the small group of QB'd who will be the next brees/brady/rodgers, along w/ stafford and RG3.

That being said, I still think he's overrated, even with today's performance. Come to think of it, he will now be overrated even more so. Again, a team that just finished 2-14, with a pretty lame DEF, and it's preseason.

Hell, I even overrate RG3 for the fun of it, but he's a rookie. So is Luck. They will make mistakes. They will throw picks. They will likely get lambasted when they dont put the fantasy #s people think they will because Cam newton put in 20000 from the ground.

RG3 and Luck, both overrated at this moment in time, but will both be superstars

Marshall Faulk, Warren Sapp and Jamie Dukes are the worst commentators in history. Just had to get that off my chest.

Amendola is going to get some receptions and is a great PPR WR especially for a league starting 4 WR.

Pead looks pedestrian at best.

Steve Smiff back in game shape.

Luck. Wow. Enough said.

I think Wayne and D Brown jump up a couple of rounds and wont be great sleeper values anymore if this keeps up.

I have been doing mocks for a month now. Been able to grab D Brown in the 7th, Wayne in the 8th. Today, literally after the first half...Brown is going late 4th and Wayne in the 6th. I think it is only going to get worse, especially with all the uncertainty at RB.

Will he do that while walking on water or will he turn the water into wine first?

this thread just hit a dead end.
Buncha guys on the field who will be bringing me appetizers next week. What's the difference?
This is likely just a problem I have, but FWIW...Why does everyone say that players that don't make the NFL will be food servers (waiters, fast food workers, etc.)? Although some of these guys didn't really work at it, most of these guys do have some level of college education and some actually graduated with a degree. I suspect that's more education on average in the NFL than the average of the people on this board. On top of that, it's pretty demeaning to the food service industry in general, as if that is an uneducated bunch of people who work easy jobs. My brother works in the industry--he has three degrees and owns a successful restaurant.

While walking atop the dead sea, turning it to Sangria as fish jump out the water already prepared en papillote, get baked by the sun and onto the plates of every NFL fan.

No worries. I know I quoted you but this wasn't really meant to call *you* out, just the phrase. Not that you were concerned, but we're good--you seem to have good comments. I just hate the phrase.
