Rams' Receiving ROS? (1 Viewer)

I just want to gauge the Shark Pool's thinking as to what to expect from the Rams' passing game with Amendola out for the year.

Chris Givens - deep threat ... 2 deep catches the past couple weeks.

Brandon Gibson - Intermediate threat. I like his YAC ability.

Steve Smith - was inactive, but with Amendola out, could assume that possession receiver role in the offense.

Lance Kendricks - safety blanket for Bradford? But maybe with O-Line issues, could be asked to block more?

I'm in a non-PPR league ... what's the play here on who to pick up from here on out?

Givens was the snap count beneficiary after Amnedola went out. He's also the big play guy. There will probably be a couple of 0/0 and 1/7's in there, but he could get a couple of good games and a breakout too.

That said, I'm not going anywhere near them. But, if you're that desperate...

Smith would be a nice fit to take over the Amendola role.
Liked him preseason, but...healthy scratch week 5? Starting to think he's one of those that never recover from a major injury type. Too bad, everything I've ever read about him says he's a great guy.

Yeah, it sure looked like that last year when he was an Eagle. I was thinking that maybe another year removed from the injury that he could regain his form.

I know this won't help someone who wants to be proactive but I believe it's a wait and see. I don't think taking a week so gain some understanding is going to kill you because I doubt any WR will be better than a weak flex option.

Have to think that Givens is the guy right now. His targets have been going up the last few weeks, whereas Smith has gotten 0 targets in the last two weeks.

Givens is the only receiver (outside of Amendola and Gibson) to have seen targets in each game this season, and is 3rd in the targets category for WRs. While that's not saying much, with Smith somehow disappeared and Quick and Pettis not really showing much, he seems to be the next best WR at this point IMO.

Givens is probably the best bet for a serviceable fantasy game if you're willing to take a flyer. He's getting plenty of snaps (second most WR snaps on the team in Wk 4, most in Wk 5), and is targeted deep at least once a game. Despite the poor completion rate overall, they've also connected on a deep ball in each of the last two weeks. During the bye week crunch, you could do a lot worse than taking a promising young HR threat.
