FBG has him ranked as the 11th best receiver this week!
as will the RBs (Portis & Betts)Cooley will see a lot of targets.
How does being ranked 11 make it a "sneaky" pick?FBG has him ranked as the 11th best receiver this week!
I don't know about Evans but ARE is more than capable of hooking up with Campbell for a long TD. They did it a number of times last year when Moss was out.Mcmm said:Torn between Evans and Randle El. I picked up El to start, but Im thinking Evans in prime time will get a long TD in blow out time.El with alot of targets, Vs. Evans, the long TD. Pick your luck. Both 1 ppr and mad bonus scoring starting at 50yds + for me. MY guess? Flip a coin, its that close.
Not doubting you, but ARE only caught 2 TDs from Cambell last season. Was Moss out on both of them?I don't know about Evans but ARE is more than capable of hooking up with Campbell for a long TD. Last I checked, Moss was running at "Full Speed" at Fridays practice on the side and was verrrrry optimistic about playing this week...KingPrawn said:I'm trying to decide between Galloway and Randle El. With Moss out Randle El could put up decent numbers. What worries me though is that we heard the same thing when Washington played the Giants and that didn't turn out so hot.

Any Was homers can tell us how long Randel El will be out?![]()
For the most part I agree. That's gotta be the gameplan for Washington. But even if they tilt the scale 65/35 toward rushing attempts, Randel El has a good chance to post excellent numbers. In the PHL game, it wasn't that Curtis burned the Det secondary, it's that the Det secondary continually blew coverage. It was painful to watch.
With Campbell's improvement, and DET likely to bite on the play-action just like they often did against Westbrook, it'll only take 2-4 passing plays for Randel El to put together a very nice game.
I understand, and agree, with what's been said about Cooley. He'll be a main target. But because of the play-action bites, Detroit is vulnerable to 'the big play'. Cooley is less likely to be involved in that. And, if I could guess at the DET game-plan, if they can contain Portis, their secondary won't be so freakin' jumpy and actually stick to coverage.
Well, not out, but Moss was hobbled most of the second half of last year with either a groin or hamstring problem, which was when Campbell started and when he clicked with ARE. Moss was greatly slowed and not nearly the same player then that you saw in 2005. You never saw Brunell hook up with ARE, but Campbell has done so routinely as a start. Not doubting you, but ARE only caught 2 TDs from Cambell last season. I doubt anyone on the team could tell you how long he'll be out right now. He left the game with a hamstring injury and didn't come back. It'll probably be tomorrow or Tuesday before the severity of the injury is known and any kind of return timeline is laid out.Pigskins said:Any Was homers can tell us how long Randel El will be out?

He appeared to walking around fairly well after the injury. Also, Gibbs said in his postgame PC that he believes it's a "high ham." From what I hear, that's better than a "low ham." But, Gibbs was also careful to say that that may not be a correct diagnosis.I doubt anyone on the team could tell you how long he'll be out right now. This is the best info available now, from the Washington Times:Pigskins said:Any Was homers can tell us how long Randel El will be out?
The Redskins lost receiver Antwaan Randle El (seven catches, 100 yards) to a strained hamstring on the final play of the first half and linebacker Marcus Washington (sack, forced fumble) to a similar ailment on Detroit's field goal drive late in the third quarter. Redskins director of medicine Bubba Tyer said both are day-to-day.
