:thumb:“Faith, family, and football, that’s my M.O., bro,” Moss said. “Your boy be back for the upcoming season.”
I dont think that announcement is coming anytime soon. I'm pretty sure he's a smart guy. I remember seeing a segment about his racing team. I got the impression that he had invested his money very wisely and was trying to set up his kids' futures.I wonder how long until we hear he's broke...
Jeremy Lin?What am i missing, who is the asian kid?
I agree. As long as Moss is motivated he can still produce. This will be interesting.Moss is a few years younger than T.O. and isn't recovering from a major injury. Someone will give him a chance. On the right team he could still make a difference.
Didn't he pretend to be motivated before when he wasn't? He has never liked contact and I doubt he can separate from DBs anymore. Do you think he still has the ability to separate?I agree. I think he is a physical freak that still has the ability. I am not sure of his motivations, which keeps me skeptical of a return that is fantasy-relevant.Didn't he pretend to be motivated before when he wasn't? I'd say the odds are really good that Moss told Carter that and Carter is just repeating it, rather than Carter actually knowing for sure. Not saying it's not true, but I'd never take the word of a d-bag like Carter. So Cris Carter claims Moss can still run a 4.3 forty
I can see that (Moss telling Carter) being the case but if Darrell Green could run a 4.43 40 at age 50, I don't see why Moss can't run a 4.3 40 at 35.I'd say the odds are really good that Moss told Carter that and Carter is just repeating it, rather than Carter actually knowing for sure. 45 fly routes has got to be at least a mile of running. Very impressive! Unless he quit on the route halfway.per @JayGlazer:hearing from multiple sources re Randy Moss workout today he lit it up. Was told he ran about 45 routes and "looked like the old Randy."
So this means he ran some and quit on half the others because he wasn't getting the ball?Yep, same Randy.per @JayGlazer:hearing from multiple sources re Randy Moss workout today he lit it up. Was told he ran about 45 routes and "looked like the old Randy." from what I gather all parties were pretty floored by his workout. Probably didn't expect him to perform the way he did
Assuming Brees is there. I mean, it Will get worked out but I can't believe the Saints took this route with a guy that has been nothing but THE icon of the team. Kind of wonder how much passion and fervor a guy can give when he has done it all and got this type of treatment.I don't think anyone has ever questioned Moss' skills or athletic ability. His heart and effort are often the problem. Having a guy like Brees throwing him the ball could keep him motivated, but on the flip side, the Saints spread the ball around like crazy, and there are bound to be weeks where Moss doesn't see the ball a lot, and that is when he will start getting frustrated, which will result in him loafing it.
Fire it up. Anyone else interested, if Randy's truly back?per @JayGlazer:hearing from multiple sources re Randy Moss workout today he lit it up. Hand-timed, no doubt, so it's really a 4.5.per @evansilva:
Free agent Randy Moss was reportedly clocked at 4.39-4.40 in the forty-yard dash during Tuesday's #Saints workout: http://bit.ly/lOaIE5
2xI'll take him in AZ and put him across from Larry. If he sucks, it's no different from last year anyway. Bring in Peyton and watch out.
Most people thought Brady would keep Moss motivated, but it didn't happen. I also don't see how Moss would stay motivated being in the Saints offense and not being the primary target on every play.I don't think anyone has ever questioned Moss' skills or athletic ability. Moss played well his entire time in NE. He got into trouble with BB and the OC and they stopped targeting him. Most people thought Brady would keep Moss motivated, but it didn't happen.
