...When is the last time that either of these predictions have been warranted:"If Randy Moss plays, he'll have a huge game""If <insert Pats WR> plays, he'll have a huge game"
When was the last time the Patriots had a stud WR, and Moss had a stud QB?He's my WR3, with Santana Moss as WR4. Since WAS is going against MIA, and have an unproven QB, I'll be starting Randy. Here's the rub, no one knows how much Randy will participate in this week's game. Not BB, not Randy, not anyone. It depends on how the game goes, and what's needed, and what may be working. In this type of situation, that's usually what they do. If he's limited, there will be people saying the injury is worse then they are letting on, and some that say BB did it to throw other teams off, and he's fine, still others saying that they were just using him as a decoy to set things up later, and if he has a great game, there will be a million reasons as to what transpired. But the truth with the Patriots is that they do what they need to do to win.So, since he was hurt, is not on the inj report now, and will be playing, they will limit him if they don't need him, and will play him if the game is close or they are behind. This being a division game, between two strong rivals on many levels, it could very well be close, but that's just playing the odds.
