Is there something inherently amiss if I were to have developed a list of players that did NOT have Alex Rodriguez as the #1 overall? When I completed my projections and valuations, Jose Reyes ended up #1 and Hanley Ramirez #2, then ARod #3. My initial thought is YES there is something amiss about my valuations of my projections. Now I admit to having a fairly conservative approach to projections (meaning I don't necessarily have ARod hitting 55 HR's this season but a more conservative number in the 40's range). But I am wondering, maybe I am valuing the Stolen Base higher than I should be. After all, Reyes & Ramirez are expected to out steal ARod. If this is so, then how do I go about quantifying the adjustments necessary for each of the standard 5x5 categories? Well a start would be to view past seasons totals I realize. However my league is a 2-year old league that is converting from a points-based league. So different aspects drove how we drafted and maintained rosters last season so it is not really applicable for me to use as a new baseline for this season.
Is there a site out there where it is possible to see "other" leagues that have similar setups as my league (5x5 standard - 10 teams) where I could analyze statistics from last season OR from the past few seasons?
