Just curious, I was looking at the rankings today and it jumped out at me that Vick is the #1 QB, McCoy #4 RB and Djax#9 WR, how can the Giants D be ranked #1. If the offensive players perform as anticipated, shouldn't the D be ranked lower, and the other way around if NYG D performs according to rank? Not trying to point out errors, just wanting to hear opinions on how this works. I do not have any of the named players on my roster.

It makes little sense. I listened to these stupid rankings that had Vick #1 and sat Rivers because of it. I had Rivers in my line up all week until these rankings came out and changed my opinion.

I was better off the days before the internet making my own decisions as these rankings and anyone else's rankings on the interenet are often wrong anyway.

They are making edicated guesses just like we all do and they are no more right then the rest of us.

There is no way Vick should be the #1 QB this week against that defense and no way the NYG DF should be #1

I played SD DF over NYG in 1 league despite their #1 ranking. They picked me up 13 pts and could have had 21 pts if SF didn't get a late meaningless TD.

Yippie for the 4-5 pts that would get me.You don't rank a DF #1 because they project to get 4-5 sacks.You rank the DF based on the likely hood of getting sacks, turnovers and holding an opponent to 10 pts or less.Only 1 of those 3 to the NYG project to do decent in.Do you think Vick lead offense will get 10 pts or less ? Not when Vick is ranked #1 QB.Do you think Vick throws a ton of INT's ? He has how many all season ?It's a bad ranking on both ends. Vick isn't the #1 ranked QB by far and NYG are certainly not worthy of #1 ranked DF.Just a flat out terrible ranking for both this week.

Totally agree. Just a reminder to let you know how much time/effort are put into these projections.

If someone listing one player higher than another is enough to change your opinion, you really didn't have a strong opinion to begin with.
