Rashad Jennings? (1 Viewer)

Per Rotoworld:

Jaguars placed RB Rashad Jennings (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.

The team has still not disclosed details on Jennings injury, but the tea leaves suggest an ACL or patellar tendon tear. Jennings has been on crutches all week. The talented backup is signed through 2012. Deji Karim, an explosive but raw runner and receiver, will take over as the No. 2 back. Should Maurice Jones-Drew go down, Karim would likely handle early-down work with Montell Owens handling blitz pickup on third-downs. By default, Karim takes over as MJD's handcuff.

It's going to get misinterpreted so I want to say I take no pleasure in being right about this but you have to look at the facts, not what the initial beat writer says "mild sprain". I know some of the local beat writers down here in Miami and they have to walk a delicate line because they want to be welcome in the locker room. It's not cool if a guy like me comes right out that night and says "possible ACL tear", that doesn't usually sit well with the players and I would make a bet that Cecil would say the same thing about the Denver Broncos who he covers.

I'm guessing here but I think JAX will be looking at the WW to see who is cut and maybe bring someone in for the RB2/3 spot. Someone that we think should not be cut probably will end up being cut.
