And don't EVER mention Ray's name in the same breath as Singletary again. That's an insult to anyone who watched Mike play.

I watched Singletary play and it's not. Lewis is a monster. Singletary did not have his speed or size. Singletary was a very smart player and matched his intensity, requiring far less histrionics to do so, but all the effort in the world didn't make him physically capable of some the things Lewis is. The mistakes Lewis may make in being out of position or not reading the play as well as Singletary, who was a master of both, could, are made up for by his physical skills. Lewis definitely deserves to be considered one of the best LBs ever.It seems an awful lot of evaluation of him in this thread is dedicated to one game, no? It's not even like he played poorly in the game, either. Odd.
