KFFL reporting that Ray Lewis (BAL LB) was limited in practice Wednesday and missed practice Thursday. Reported that "he" expects to start.

Don't recall this being discussed in the IDP forum (could be very wrong on that point and apologies in advance).

Does anyone know if this precautionary ? Likelihood that he will play ?

I am not sure of Ray's history of calling that he expects to start and then being a scratch late in the week.

Baltimore Sun published the following this evening:

Lewis is dealing with a knee issue, but the team has allowed some of its older veterans to take a day off in the past. This may be the case with Lewis. Gaither (knee) was limited yesterday, but team officials do not seem to be overly concerned that he'll miss Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

We'll probably have a better idea after tomorrow's practice.

Went through a limited light practice Friday. All indications thus far are that he will start, but I may start looking elsewhere to cover for a potential goose egg.
