Two guys I think that will be absolute steals going into next year are Jerious Norwood of Atlanta and Deangelo Williams of Carolina. Both kind of flew under the radar last year and both, right now, appear to be ranked behind everyone else from last years draft class: Bush, Maroney, Mojo, Addai, now even Lendale...I could see this very easily changing by this time next year with both guys making tremendous leaps up the the draft boards. For people targeting them, what are you offering? Also, what would owners be willing to trade them for? And how do you see their relative value in comparison to each other?

As a Norwood owner, I'm down on him this year at least. A new coaching regime that wants to go with a power running game and the rumors of them drafting Michael Bush make me sick to my stomach after having high hopes for him for this year.

DeAngelo? He's overhyped.

As a "Norwoodian" I can't see Atlanta letting this guy sit idle he is as much as a big play waiting to happen as the much hyped Bush.

I'm a big Norwood guy myself, and I think he is being overlooked for this coming season, especially compared to the rest of his rookie class. In my opinion he Bush, and MJD are the best pure runners from the 2006 class. I haven't seen any substantiation of the rumors that Petrino wants to draft Bush; that comes off more as an oversimple assumption because Bush played for him at Louisville. Petrino has said they want a big back to be a short yardage specialist, so maybe Norwood will lose some carries at the goal line, but maybe not. The same concerns surrounded Willie Parker last season, and, in fact, I think Norwood projects a lot like Parker: a possible yardage monster between the 20s with the potential for good TD production if given the chance (and people were also saying Parker was too skinny). The Atlanta coaching staff has already said that Norwood will get more carries next season, and earlier this offseason McKay said Dunn's role will be decreased. If they draft a RB in the 2nd round, I'll be a little more concerned, but Norwood's talent is unquestionable in my opinion. I also want to see that he can handle more carries, but he was a workhorse at MS State and never missed a game due to inujury. His problems last season came from the same knee injury, and not multiple bumps and bruises, which is encouraging.

 Im also a Norwood Owner and I would have to agree with Warpig. The change in coaching personal, possible running scheme change and Warrick Dunn may drop Norwood's value next year. DeAngelo looked good in spots last year, but he also may have to deal with another RB splitting carries.Comparatively speaking I think DeAngelo has a higher value than Norwood right now.

Who is better in Dynasty?

DeAngelo Williams [ 41 ] ** [67.21%]

Jerious Norwood [ 20 ] ** [32.79%]

So we have 20 Norwood owners who voted, 20 Williams owners, and 21 rational outsiders.

I would much rather have D. Will, and I really don't think it is close. I don't see Norwood as feature back material, and think he is better suited as a change of pace.

Norwood at 165 pounds , with legs the size of a hockey stick will never be a starter in the NFL , while Williams will start for many years to come .

Does it answer your question.

This guy is in the know. :jawdrop: Do some research then come back and play.

There's a guaranteed way to win an argument: call everyone who disagrees with you irrational.

As long as you feel the same way about Reggie Bush then I have no problem with your opinion.

You talking about Scott Norwood? Geezus, the credibility of this board has absolutely plummeted in recent weeks.

Jerous Norwood is Tatum Bell in a Falcon jersey. The only thing Norwood does better is he breaks a few more tackles and has slightly more power....and maybe stickier fingers...but they are in the same mold.

Not an everydown player.

That's what I thought going into last year. Then I actually watched Jerious play a few times and thought that he could possibly be a feature back. Take a look at this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwbA4c2vdvg

Jerious has much better feet than Tatum, and probably slightly better acceleration and top end speed. Not too many backs in the NFL can make some of the cuts J-Rock makes in that clip.
