RB Jordan James, SF (1 Viewer)

Here is another guy not being talked about a lot because the RB class is so deep. He ran 233/1267/15 in 2024. He's 5'10"210. He's someone that has a wide variety of outcomes. He could go in the 3rd round of the NFL draft, or go undrafted. Another dart throw in the 3rd or 4th round of rookie drafts, or even a FA waiver wire pickup. I was fortunate enough to see a few of his games, and while I don't pretend to know what he will do in the NFL, I liked the way he runs. I kind of remember him being explosive at the point of attack. Like many of these lower tier RBs the combine is going to be very important for them.

Jordan James (Oregon) has answered a lot of questions this season and is a major riser at RB in the 2025 NFL Draft 👀

He’s proven he can be a true lead back and has become a more willing pass protector.

Steven Haglund
Oregon RB Jordan James' ability to jump cut and create yards after contact is really fun!

Agreed, another one that I like, didn’t lose a fumble last year if I’m not mistaken.

I don’t know how he’s going to do but I think he’s a top 10 rb in this super deep class
Dane Brugler had him as his RB6 I think and overall number 62.

He was on a podcast later and asked who he was higher on then consensus, referenced this ranking, and added that when he watched last year he thought James was the better player then Bucky Irving.

Beast RB #7- 3rd round grade
5'-9.5". 208#
4.51 40 time

Decisive zone runner with above average vision
Reliable ball security
"Overall, James' well-rounded, no nonsense run style will translate well to the NFL game, as will his feel for maximizing runs at the line of scrimmage and making the first man miss, which he does in multiple different ways (power, balance, quickness, vision). He has the talent to quickly ascend to the top of a team's running back chart- and stay there."

RSP- RB 12
Depth of talent score- 83.4 = rotational starter- executes as a starter level in a role playing to their strengths.
